Massive thanks to Nadine and the staff for a great day! We had our daughters christening party in the function room - great little bar all to ourselves, food was superb and plenty for the 50+ guests. Nadine sorted the decorations and couldn't have been more helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We went up into the main bar later on and had a few games of pool and a few more drinks, couldn't have been better. The food in the main restaurant looked great too. Would recommend the fitz to anyone.
Nadine and her team did a great job for our wedding yesterday, We had a sit down meal and evening reception & buffet. Everyone loved the food and the effort Nadine went to with the decorations was amazing. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend the fitz to others. Thanks again!! Xx

Really nice pub! We are not local to this area and were meeting up with family and picked this place from reviews. We were so relieved when we went and found out it to be a great place! The food was lovely, served piled high, on big plates - definitely 'Yorkshire' portions, but fantastic!! The staff really couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Going out of their way to be as helpful as possible. The menus are good. My mum is gluten free and they were extremely helpful and had a nice range of gluten free options. Even though it's not really the right time of year, our children had good fun on the lovely playground too. It was really well equipped and nicely done! We hope to visit again in the nice weather where it looks to be a lovely garden for the sunshine! Thanks for a lovely visit. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous play area for the kids with plenty of seating.
Had both my kids partys at the Fitz past few month, wonderful function room at the back that opens up onto the playing area .

A lovely pub. Great fast service, and amazing food. Toilets are very small for the amount of people that are present at the restaurant, but other than that, this is an amazing pub.
Love coming here, great menu & meal portions are huge. Atmosphere is lovely & they offer a wide selection of drinks at very good prices

Nice food, reasonably priced. Fish Friday, 2 fish and chips with 2 glasses of wine £16. Can not go wrong with that, we'll be back.
Beautiful steak meal, 1 point deducted for the cold peas!
