The food was delicious. Very generous portions and very reasonable price on the lunch time menu. We will return.
Lovely staff very polite, friendly atmosphere, unfortunately food was a disappointment had belly pork pieces for starter and they were deep fried very greasy. Mixed grill main was okay very greasy onion rings and salad seemed oily. Parter had chicken burger which she said was ok.
Portions were generous and they had lots of gluten free options . Staff were friendly and attentive . It is a small place so was a little bit loud when busy.
The food is delicious! A lovely cosy little place. Would definitely recommend.
Great steaks and top quality meat and ingredients and generally great food just 2 tiny criticisms 1. The Barnsley chop could have had the fat more well done. 2. The prawns in garlic butter, a daft thing but actually too much butter which was hiding all the good stuff at the bottom to "mop up" with the bread but will be back.
This place is a little gem. We ordered 3 courses, I ordered - crab balls for starter, the steak platter for 2 (of course sharing) and bakewell tart for dessert. All of the food was cooked to perfection, my compliments to the chef. He nailed …
