Recently went here with my husband, in-laws and children. We had an early table so the restaurant was lovely and quiet. Staff were friendly, attentive and great with the children. The food was outstanding - the pancakes sounded a bit odd on the menu but boy were we wrong ! They tasted lovely - the fajitas were great too. We would highly recommend this restaurant if you want good quality food with friendly staff to serve you. It is little pricey but worth it!

Went for the bottomless brunch. Lovely food, cocktails looked delicious but I don't drink so had the cucumber mocktail. Very nice. Attentive staff, clean tables. Very reasonable price. Would recommend it.

What a lovely bar and restaurant. We were in a party of 16 for a family get together and had a big table out the back. Nice and clean and modern for an old building. Staff were friendly and efficient. Most people had the carvery, 1 person did not like their's but was being fussy. The food off the lunch menu was good with a nice choice. A nice place

Came for a date night and it impressed the other half! So that’s got to count for something!
We enjoyed our drinks and the ambience as we decided what to have.
Food was delicious and came promptly.
Would definitely come again!

A return visit to a favourite haunt, booking strongly recommended, but Sunday night not too busy.
Great setting, good food.
Shame they'd run out of Atlantic Pale Ale yesterday.
Sirloin, Bass and house salad with icecream trios+clotted cream.
They do a peanut butter and jelly cocktail drink which we didn't fancy one little bit !!!!

A lovely impromptu lunch spot in a beautiful setting.
I'd come back for a date-night, hopefully soon.

WOW!!! Amazing food, service, cocktails and interior!! Absolutely loved this place and trying to find every excuse to go back!!
Every dish was beautifully presented, large portions, so great value for money and ever so tasty with a touch of class!
The cocktails were incredible and the staff were so helpful and friendly, helping us choose the best ones!
The decor was lovely with spectacular ceilings. Everything with clean and covid safe.

5 of us sat down and admired the wonderfully detailed interior whilst pursuing the extensive drinks menu, service was attentive so we ordered some cocktails and gins which did not disappoint.
The food was a visuall delight and equally delicious (especially the beef short rib), desert was a struggle as all the portion were generous but we managed eat as much as possible and roll out the door!

Ok, so I came here again so am updating my review to reflect the huge difference I found. Service was polite and very friendly, but the food, wow, was so much nicer. It seems to have changed quite a bit since I last went and I would come here again.
Further edit: another visit and they have certainly upped their game! Fitted us in last minute very happily. They also did us a cheeky favour with our food, very much appreciated and has secured a 5 star rating from me :)
Original: I've never had a good meal here unfortunately. The food has always been standard at best with prices that suggest it will be better than it actually is.
