What a great bar. Nice friendly staff. A great place to watch sports. Plenty of things to do. A good crowd if you like playing pool. Friendly locals,kid friendly and dog friendly too. A traditional bar in the heart of Barnstaple

Everyone has to go and see Steve on a night out cracking landlords,pop in on your own or with company either way you will be made to feel at home by Steve and the locals.

Friendly i would say its for the more older people, having said that they have a great jukebox and sometimes live music, Lanlords friendly but wont put up with fools friendly bar staff in all.

This is a quiet place at the very end of the high street. I've never seen it too busy, but it's a comfortable and cosy place. The staff are friendly and helpful. Other customers appear to be friendly and welcoming. The thing that I like most about this place is the 2 pool tables. So far they are the best for a game in barnstaple town centre. They also have league games here. Alcohol prices are very reasonable too compared to other pubs and bars that I have visited in barnstaple

Yeah really liked this pub, food was good, beer was good, and there's plenty of room in there, for example, I was in there yesterday in a group of 7 and another group of 10. Plenty of room..
