The Three Horseshoes Country Inn

We stayed at the Three Horseshoes Country Inn many times over the summer for work and we were always welcomed and always enjoyed our stay. The rooms are all really nice in our experience, having stayed in several different rooms over the course of the summer. Very comfortable beds, nicely decorated and furnished rooms, peaceful location, we slept very well. We would often arrive after dinner service but they were always very accommodating and would rustle us something up or would take an order phoned through on our journey over from Barry. The location is perfect for getting into Barry, ideally close and also lovely to be in the countryside. The staff were always great, particularly one young gentleman who I wish I could recall his name; he went above and beyond in customer service. The pub is a nice space to be, both inside and outside in the garden. A relaxing atmosphere. All in all highly recommended as a place to stay.

The guy at the bar booked me in no problem and escorted me to my room, which was clean and cosy. The bar restaurant was beautiful, so if you wanted a night away with a loved one, this would be the place. The food was amazing, I had the sirloin stake, which was cooked just how I like it. The food is locally sourced, and you can tell. I would return.

I booked a kids party here for yesterday. I had basic package and decorated room and bought sweet and party bags with me. We had a great time. Staff were friendly and helpful. They seemed to be doing a lot so more staff would have been helpful just maybe to cover the party when the pub actually opened at 12. We had to wait to be served at bar on occasions which wasn't the staff fault they were working hard and were going as fast as they could. Thankyou Three Horseshoes for a lovely couple of hours for my son's party.

What a pub! 1) They brew their own beers, not available elsewhere, all of which are fantastic! Even better than you can do 'beer tapas' and try 3 different ones 😀 2) They have a big indoor soft play for the kids which can accomodate up to 40 kids! Clean and well maintained. 3) The food was great - I had the special persian lamb curry 4) Great service with a smile in a clean and comfortable setting 5) Reasonably priced 6) There looked to be a decent outdoor play area and plenty of outside seating too - not that we did that.

Had a great overnight stay at the Three Horseshoes Country Pub. The rooms were very nice and en-suite was even better. The breakfast was 6 star it was amazing, cereals, yogurts fruit, juices they missed nothing out. Full Welsh breakfast was most enjoyable. Brilliant chef. Will visit again because they made you feel welcome. All the staff were friendly. Amazing place.
