Exceptional food and service. Everything from the appetisers, the mains and the dessert was truly outstanding.
Even if you aren't hungry, just pop in and try their cheesecake. It's flavour, texture and presentation was on exquisite.
They made our night by bringing out a dessert that said Happy 8th anniversary. Management & Staff are super friendly and attentive.
The best restaurant we have been to in Bath.

My partner and I decided to book a table for our anniversary. We arrived 45 minutes early due to not finding somewhere for a pre drink with it being a busy Saturday night. They accommodated without question or saying we was far too early. The atmosphere was on fantastic, tables full, laughter and warm friendly service from the moment we was taken to our table. The food... well where to start 5* all the way. The drinks menu was amazing and so much to choose from. Even made us a Long Island Ice tea. This wasn’t on the menu. Staff 5* and beyond. Very tentative We honestly couldn't fault the evening and enjoyed every second of it. They even did a beautiful happy anniversary desert for us at the end which was an unexpected. Lovely touch to end the night. We wouldn't be able to praise them enough for this magical evening and highly recommend them, we will certainly be returning!

Deliciously tasty classic dishes, beautifully presented, full of clever use of flavour and texture, which give a special stamp to the food. Good quality wine by the glass. It is one of the few restaurants we could find in Bath which was not attached to a pub. "Fine dining" without the fuss and cost, in attractive premises in the centre of town. It is worth a special journey to sample the food.

We enjoyed a superb 3 course post-theatre dinner with friends. The food is excellent - I had scallops followed by pork belly and finished off with blueberry cheesecake. All were absolutely delicious. And there is an extensive wine list too. The service was great and there is a really good atmosphere too. I thoroughly recommend it.

Fantastic Food look no further!!!
We stumbled by this cute restaurant by chance on a Saturday night. It was super-busy however they managed to accomodate us.
We had the duck starter and pork belly as a main… both to die for!

Raphael restaurant is truly exquisite. The food tastes so fresh and is all home made which goes a long way. Such as the homemade bread with garlic butter was really tasty. The scallop starter has an interesting combination of flavours which works incredibly well together and were just delightful. The main was also very delicious and cooked very well, equally it looked very appetising on the plate. The wine to accompany the meal was also superb. The staff were also very professional and attentive and made our evening so enjoyable, thanks to Maria and Antonella they are amazing.

What a truly delicious experience! The food was out of this world. A mixture of Italian and French but best described as International cuisine.
We had the chorizos to share, courgette flower and beef cheek for starters and a juicy brisket burger and oven cooked fish of the day, sole, for our main.
A great wine list too!
Staff were attentive and happy, singing along to 80s songs played on low volume. A great celebration dinner for my son’s graduation and an ideal place for families and romantic dinners.

At first I had some concerns that the Rafael restaurant is in the very center, but I decided to make a reservation there because I saw people there in a good mood.
Very friendly service, exceptionally good wines. A real family kitchen. I personally liked the chorizo the most.
A restaurant always does well when the boss is present every day and looks after the business.
