Right when you walk in, you are surrounded by a homely inviting restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was immediately welcoming and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a new "spot". In fact, I'm going to DEVOUR the butter chicken and chili cheese naan TONIGHT.

Everything seemed so cozy, and welcoming. The staff made sure everything was alright, along with the food, it was DELICIOUS. Cheaper than most places for sure. I would recommend coming here with friends and family, for sure.

We were 10 mostly vegetarians. Mantra vegetable dishes were excellent and came promptly. The staff that served us were really great Inc a chef I met. Thank you Joaquin de silva.

Excellent place. I ordered Hyderabadi chicken biriyani and Bombay Hot wings. One of the best biriyani I've had after coming to the UK. Kiran, who served me was very kind and friendly.

Excellent quality and delicious food. Biryani's are the best. The only concern being the quantity as it is extremely less, otherwise everything is pretty good.

This was a wonderful find. The owner guided us in what to order and how certain dishes complimented each other. Excellent food the onion bhaji were so delicious. Do not miss the dosa and the butter chicken. Every level of heat and dietary restriction was accommodated.

Did not expect to find such incredible Indian food here in Bath! 10/10 food, service and wonderful view from the terrace. Highly recommend this restaurant if visiting Bath! Indian food will never be the same when we go back to our home town of Adelaide ! Best we’ve ever had. Thank you !

The restaurant is a bit away from the centre, but the walk up there is certainly worth it!

We had a table on the (heated) terrace, which offers a splendid view over Bath. Loved everything about this restaurant!

The food was amazing, tasty, mouth watering and really up to the mark.
The service was amazing .
Few points to be considered though:
1) I went on a Sunday, it was not much crowded but could not get the open area seating even though it was empty.
2) The table I was provided with has a dust covered candle stand, the menu of drinks provided had stains of chutney all over it and sticky too.
3) The plates served were all broken from the sides and their ends were chipped off.
Never visited a restaurant which serves the customers in broken plates.

Mantra is amazing! Definitely our favourite Indian restaurant in Bath! The food is to die for, and served generously. The house was very busy and because of that made the few staff clearly overloaded. Nevertheless the girls were absolutely amazing and delivered a great service, always friendly and patient.
