Great French pastry, chocolate and sweet shop. We were tempted in by the window display, and we weren’t disappointed! We picked a few of the pastries (salted caramel, almond, traditional) and they transported us to west coast French holidays - delicious and spot on with flavour! I highly recommend the pastries. We felt other items were quite pricey, but they were beautifully presented so would make nice gifts.

We had the good fortune to stumble upon this delightful shop today. We purchased large Touchette,, Rocher, nougat barre and macarons. The macarons are superb and lasted as long as it took to stand outside the shop. Naturally, I went back in and purchased some more. We're not local to Bath but I hope for many more sorties down to this wonderful shop.

Absolutely wonderful place, my partner and I visited this chocolate haven in Lille and couldn’t wait to visit Bath to get our fix again! Absolutely must try the kouignettes - pure buttery sugary goodness! We bought 4, walked around the block eating them, then looped back round to buy more as they are simply irresistible, nothing else like it! The owner Patricia is lovely and helpful and her passion for chocolate shines through with every customer. Do not leave Bath without visiting! À la prochaine! Frances & Nab

Lovely shop of all kinds of confections and other creations--which I cannot always pronounce. Helpful staff, superb presentation. Many opportunities to mix-and-match so you can taste a wide range without breaking the bank.

Delicious French home-made perfectionist, very rich chocolates and mini pastries. Great for a taste sensation if you get a small bag... Even if you don’t buy, just walk around inhaling the fine chocolate! A beautiful shop.

On our trip we stopped in that shop to try their specialty « la kouignette » and it is something that you should try if you are in bath. We tried also the macaron that were beautiful and tasted really good!

Some of the reviews are incredibly over the top and very misleading. I personally had an amazing experience on my trip to Bath on Sunday. The service was hilarious, five stars for the gent's charismatic and comedic nature. The macaroons were so beautiful and delicious. And the chocolates were all so divine I had to return to buy some more before heading back to London! The biscuits I bought for my work were devoured within two days! Delicious! Next time I'm in Bath I will 100% be returning to purchase some more goodies!

The shop is very cute. We didnt buy anything in the shop but went upstairs for a coffee and a hot chocolate. The place upstairs is nice, very pink, the drinks we ordered were good and we also took the scones which were nice. If i ever visit Bath again, i would go back!

Gorgeous shop with sinfully delicious chocolates and pastries. All the chocolates are delicious and very hard to choose from. Their Macaroons taste very fabulous and authentic. Their trademark "Kouiginette" ( pronounced kwinyet) were simply gorgeous. The cafe upstairs sells all their delicious pastries with very good coffee. Highly recommend it!

The macarons here taste like the macarons you get in France. That is to say the filling tastes as though it were made from the actual ingredient advertised, not some synthetic compound; maybe that's the problem of the reviewers below, used to store bought, e-number-riddled sweet treats. they stay fresh for a surprisingly long time also. I can't comment on the café upstairs, but the service in the shop is polite and attentive. If you want to know what a proper French macaron tastes like, come here.
