St Swithin's church have a large cafe downstairs and run weekly Waffles at Walcot on Tuesdays from 9.00 until 5.00. The cafe has spacious tables and comfortable chairs. It has Wi-Fi and several rooms which can be used. The cafe has a large commercial kitchen with all the equipment that could be needed.

Pleasant cafe in basement with excellent coffee and food, lots of space, a peaceful atmosphere and clean toilets! Even a garden to sit in if you don't mind a bit of traffic noise . Definitely worth trying out as a nice variation on the city-centre cafes.

Not the prettiest church in Bath but historically important for any Jane Austen fan. Rev. George Austen, Jane’s father, is buried here.

So much history here. Jane Austin's parents married here, her father us buried here. William Wilburforce also married his wife here. Great new cafe in the crypt.

Great place..lovely coffee shop..tranquil and reflective..Jane Austen s father was the vicar here...and so the Austen family were regular visitors

Found out that some of my wife's ancestors went to this church and were married there. We went by to see it and although the church was closed, we found some church workers who were preparing for a Sunday event. They allowed us to walk around inside and see the gravestones all around the inside of the church (the church was also a crypt in the past) and see if we could find any ancestors buried there. They were so kind to let us in even though we were strangers visiting from 6000 miles away!

Unusual Italianate church, where Jane Austen's parents got married. Good acoustics for singing, cafe facilities in basement. I don't know about it as a church.
