The Landlady was very accommodating. No Kitchen at the moment but had pizza, sausage rolls etc on the bar.

Visited this delightful pub today , celebrating Easter, lots going on and very happy children.. Parents seemed to be enjoying the day too .
Staff were so friendly, Angel, Sammy and Amie the manageress couldn’t have been more welcoming, such a pleasant atmosphere and would recommend a visit ..
It will be lovely to return again when the food is up and running 😊

I must say my time at Woolpack was AMAZING. I booked a table for my family of 7 and we all had such a good time. The waitress was so kind and I wish I knew her name so I could give her an extra special mention. What I loved most though was how welcoming the pub felt and the atmosphere was just enjoyable. My only tiny scrutiny would be how I’m sure I witnessed one of the young members of staff pulling themselves a pint. Everyone from my family thought fair play to them😂 however I was just wondering your policy on this. This is only because I’m a mother of 2 boys and I’m sure this would get them into trouble at work for drinking supplies and drinking illegally. However despite this I had a great time and will be 110% returning back and I would highly recommend to any family looking to enjoy and lively and relaxing meal and at a good old traditional pub.

We booked a table for 9 people on a busy fathers day. It was a fantastic experience. Everyone commented how amazing the food was, cozy cute setting & extremely attentive staff. We can't wait to visit again! Thank you for making our Fathers Day such a memorable experience.

Fairly new to Wixams next door. Been a couple times, atmosphere nice when busy and quite. Fish and chips was very nice also! Great service from barman this afternoon (Fri 27) (name unknown).

Nice friendly service, waitresses were great, one of them overheard us discussing whether to have a dish because of the garlic and she kindly interjected saying we could have the dish without garlic. food was lovely, especially the steak and ale pie. the meat was so tender

Nice pub. The food was tasty and the staff were friendly. The downside is it only had a single women's toilet, straight off the bar area and the lock wasn't very good. It's very hard to find out the menu.
