Saffron make exceptional and delicious flavours cakes, they maybe pricey but well worth it, they are truly scrumptious, I often treat myself to the cakes, they are very yummy and more.ish, I love her cakes, buy I will be buying some bread, her food it so yummy thank Saffron for wonderful and delicious cakes and the servic, from Mandye at no5

So many amazing old school bakes here and everything is SUPERSIZED! I have to avoid egg and dairy and there were three options for me on this occasion. There are gluten free options but the owner is clear that whilst precautions are in place, the foods are all prepared in the same kitchen. Always a great coffee and lovely friendly staff too. It's been a while since I've been back to Fancy and it's not going to be too long before I go back again.

A world class bakery. I rarely give a 5 star review but this bakery is putting out some of the best baked goods I have ever tasted. I’ve eaten at the most expensive, world famous patisseries and this is the best I’ve ever had. The banoffee pie was the best. I’d eat it every day if I lived here. The macaroon was also amazing. I’ve had 5 items and will eventually try everything. Please never take off the banoffee pie. It’s amazing.

I can't count how many times I've been here. My parents go here at least once a week and we go as a family whenever I'm back. It's a joy to eat anything that is made with love and passion. You can really tell the owners of Fancy bakery have a passion for baking and food. Their cakes are delicious, they always source seasonal local produce which means that there's always something new to try. (e.g. Rhubarb cake and crumble where the rhubarb was organic and sourced in Bedfordshire when in season). The owners and all the staff they have are delightful and friendly to all customers. The person who grows the rhubarb is celiac so Fancy bakery made gluten-free rhubarb muffins to ensure they could enjoy some of the products made with their harvest. Hearing stories like that whilst enjoying the gluten-free Rhubarb muffin goes to show the genuine community feel that comes with this place. It's rare and I love to see it! Their toasted sandwiches are surprisingly filling with of course, sourdough bread baked in house. Everything is made from quality ingredients and you can really taste that in the produce. I couldn't recommend this place enough, if I lived locally I would be buying my bread from them weekly, too.

Been several times before writing this review just to make sure I wasn’t catching them on an off-day. The cakes are fantastic, there is no denying they are the best in the area. Service is cold and feels a bit like you’re inconveniencing them by being there. For that reason alone, I get take out and only get a slice of cake instead of sitting down and having a coffee and cake and maybe a sandwich. Sombre mood , superb cakes

Visited for the first time yesterday. Excellent coffee and hot chocolate. The cakes were also extremely good. My wife, who can give a cold eye to inferior buttercream, pronounced it excellent on the coffee and walnut. Blueberry and lime cake and lemon, almond and polenta were also top-notch. The owner seems a talented, hard-working and pleasant woman. We will definitely return here.
