Great place - we'd not been here for years, but will certainly be returning a lot sooner than that 😊

Probably the tastiest pub lunch (at the Stone Jug) that I can remember. The chef is in a class of their own. The chef prepared a salmon main course as well as the cheese cake dessert by hand. The meal was outstanding. The staff were very helpful to squeeze 2 of us in consideration we did not have a reservation. The atmosphere is nice and cosy. I would highly recommend the Stone Jug. It is best to make reservations. The salmon main course consisted of: Pan fried salmon New potatoes Mixed vegetables White wine, cream and prawn sauce. The only drawback is slightly limited parking IMO I definitely plan to visit again especially if the same chef is cooking

Very much a local cosy village pub with a well-kept cellar and plentiful indoor outdoor seating. Didn't eat on this occasion but food is good fr9m previous experience. Friendly, lots of character and children and dogs welcome.

My new favourite place to go!! Managed to get in due to a cancellation, fully booked on a Thursday lunch time!! Lovely pub tucked away off the main roads, The staff were friendly, and really helpful the homemade chicken, ham & leek pie was the best ever, and ham egg and chips also up there. What a great find, will certainly be going back again and again, but he warned make sure you book in advance, you won't be disappointed if you get in!!

Somewhere I would try to stop at again, Maybe flying back from Luton Airport, if timings were right. A great little local boozer, brilliant real ales, I think there was a choice of 5! The locals seemed very friendly, well maybe they were laughing at my transport. The buffet food I had there during my mates wake was very good. I bet they do a great cheese and onion sandwich.

Brilliant little pub, friendly staff and a very nice lunch, one way system in place tables set out for distancing and all the staff wore masks, great selection of real ales well kept and changed every 144 pints (according to the boss) love this place, well worth a visit.
