Chaat Haus

Chaatastic !!! This was our 4th visit and it did not disappoint ! This is a must visit restaurant if you like excellent Indian cuisine. My starter of Bombay firecracker chicken was so flavoursome and spicy it really hit the spot as did my Beef Khala Bhuna/jeera rice and naan. We also had several side dishes, again they were delicious. My mates equally loved their starters and mains. The staff and service was really good and it was nice to meet the chef. He seems very passionate about the food as we’re the staff. Everyone seemed very knowledgeable. Already looking forward to our next visit. I urge you to go and try this restaurant as we are lucky to have somewhere like this in Bedford !

The food is fab, the staff are amazing, the chaats offer mouthwatering flavours I’ve never experienced before, portion size is plentiful and both the price and surroundings are superb! We will definitely be coming back soon to this hidden gem!

We have visited many times, it's our favourite place for Indian food. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is tasty and always has the right balance of flavour. Lovely atmosphere. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful meal, the place felt very homey and warm. The décor was nice to look at, got my food in a timely manner, the staff was very friendly. I got the manchurian chicken and the butter chicken and they were so flavorful! Not like anything I’ve tasted before. I really liked the edible flowers 😊 the food looked amazing!

I have to say when I saw this Chaat Haus pop up in my feed I had to go and check it out as Bedford is seriously lacking some food places like this . I was hoping that I was not disappointed and Chaat Haus didn’t let me down. It just looked like a normal place from the outside but the second you walked in the ambience of the place excited me. The lighting, the decorations, and the attention to details was great. We are Vegetarian so was hoping there was a range of things we could eat and there was a separate Vegan menu. We ordered quite a few starters and I have to say they were very well presented and great value for money. The staff were nice , friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we got full on all the starters and didn’t get a chance to attack some main which means we will be back for sure to have some more . The taste of the food that we had was spot on and hit the mark on every dish the drinks were also very nice and refreshing , having gone for a mint lassi I was impressed. The gol guppa which is my fav dish generally were different and exciting very filling the only thing I would say is I think you need double the amount of pani (water) for each portion . First class place and is now my fav in Bedford. I will be sharing details of this place with everyone I know being a foodi from London this was very long overdue in Bedford. Also there is a paid parking next to place .Thank you guys.
