Really nice spot. Food is reasonably priced. I had a Mexican Chicken panini which was fantastic. Came with tortilla chips and a nice salad. Also have good vegatarian options on their broad menu. There's also 2 stores. One on Fountain Street then one on Castle street. I believe the fountain Street one is cash only.
Best sandwich shop in Belfast. Great taste fresh and prices
Probably the best sandwiches in Belfast. Personally I can't pick a favourite and am often even undecided when about to order. A huge selection but all taste great. The bread they use is also fantastic. Always queued out the door which is a good sign. Never had any of the hot food items but when they are being served up to customers they always look amazing. One other noticeable thing, same staff members for years so must be a good environment to work in and means they know what they are doing.
Great place to eat. Staff very friendly and helpful
Well worth a visit if you are looking for great quality food and excellent service from very attentive staff.
Spotlessly clean food counters and table areas.
Highly recommended if you are looking for real good food at a reasonable price.
Love and respect.

I have ate in many places in Belfast and it's hard to beat the West. Fresh produce, locally owned and tasty ! Service is always good . They have two shops open now too due to popular demand !
For a long time West has been my choice of place to go for lunch or on work breaks - the food is to die for, all fresh and with big portions. Staff are lovely and take the time to ensure e everything is fine for you even though there's usually a lot of other customers.
Recently due to the castle street problems caused by the Primark fire the cafe has had some problems which is unfortunate, but it's still cracking on and serving a full house of customers daily. I would 100% reccomend getting there before a potential close in February.
Great place. Friendly staff and the food is always of a high standard. They use quality ingredients and prepare sandwiches with love and care. Mexican chicken sandwich from here is a thing of wonder.
West is a popular well established cafe in the heart of Belfast. The menu has lots to choose from including sandwiches, soups, paninis, wraps (hot or cold) and salad bowls. All food is made to order if you don't fancy the standard menu choices. Breakfasts are also served until 12 noon and after 2pm daily. There are some daily specials available e.g. chicken goujons with chips or speciality wraps of the day. You need to be hungry to eat here as the portions are large. Prices range from around £4.50-£7.50 and so it isn't cheap when you add your drinks. On average lunch will cost around £17.00 for two people. Drinks are basic tea, coffee or soft drinks. There are no herbal teas or alternatives to cow's milk available hence the loss of a star. There are some traybakes and scones available. Takeaway is available and also outside catering which can either be delivered or collected. It's a busy place so be prepared to wait for a table.
