This has to be one of the best restaurants we have enjoyed for a few years now. Every time we eat here, the food is excellent, the staff are really friendly and helpful. Eight South has a great range of menu options and you will not be disappointed. Great parking front of restaurant which is free. Easy access for wheelchairs and prams. No steps or obstacles so so step into great surroundings and relax while you get served great food.....Highly recommend this little gem but do make a reservation so your not disappointed....Enjoy!

My finance and I had our engagement dinner with our family at Eight South. Everything about the night was perfect. Food was top quality. Service and staff where fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Great spot to just drop in for lunch. Good menu and also light lunch menu. Food very good - I had chicken stir fry and my wife had baked potato.

First time coming here and I'm glad I did.
Neighbours are always recommending it.
Firstly the service was great and the food was great. Portion sizes are just right. Not small and not too big. My father who is quite picky enjoyed every moment of it. From starter to dessert and it was good to see him so happy. The prices are good for what you get. Can really recommend the prawn cocktail for starter and the chicken sizzler for main. We will definitely be back.
Edit: my only issue is the disabled parking. They only have two spots

Quiet on a Saturday afternoon. But that suited us. Lovely lunch, reasonable pricing and prompt service. I had a lovely lasagne with ground beef rather than usual mince. Held shape and wasn't sloppy. Good sized portion. Daughter had chicken burger which looked and tasted lovely. My wife had chicken goujons which she couldn't finish and ended up taking a couple home.

Lovely surroundings and pleasantly comfortable. Staff are attentive but not too much as to spoil any conversation taking place. Drinks order on arrival along with a menu. Clean and well organised. Starters and main course we're absolutely lovely. Good choice on menu. Prompt warm food. We will be back.

First time here. Absolutely best steak I've had in a while. Service was superb. Social distancing was super safe. Staff were friendly prompt and attentive. Dessert was decadent. I will definitely be back. Would book in future as only downside due to lockdown had to sit on stools at high table a more comfortable table is probably have another course and stay longer. 👍😁
