Cozy pub where you can feel the history of the place - just watch your head walking in otherwise the feeling becomes physical. Friendly barmen, nice local crowd, fantastic garden seating on a warm sunny day. The taps have standard beers on offer and the prices are well affordable.

Great food, very well presented. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and despite the fact they were super busy, they still patiently stopped to patiently explain everything about the area to us.

Just had an incredible Sunday roast with smoked brisket here - very reasonable pricing, friendly staff and a generally lovely local pub feel. Will be coming back!

Though pub kitchen was still closed, a lovely mobile cake shop in the parking was available. With energetic kids, enjoyed café in the large pub garden.

Staff was really friendly and is such a cute English pub to visit, if you're tall you'll need to slouch a little. highly recommend.

Friendly locals pub, a lot bigger than it looks from the road with extensive patio and garden at the back. There were 4 premium ales on tap when I went for lunch... Black Sheep, McMullens Bombadier, Greene King standard plus one other. The Black Sheep was in v good nick .. delicious.
Hearty good value food from a short menu. Dog-friendly.
