Visited this week after the place reopened, lovely visit. Food was great and a good menu selection, staff are friendly and the new manager really welcoming. So good we booked for Boxing Day, looking forward to it already.
We visited on Saturday 20th December as group of 4. Happy with the food and the staff were all friendly. Witnessed some issues minor issues but understand that you have only just reopened. We will be visiting again soon and wish you well for the future.
Good food, great atmosphere overall very pleased. Staff lovely too!
Nice old traditional pub. Waiting on renovations to start work. Only really open for beers at this stage. Phone cut off so don't call the number. Will be back for a Guinness soon. Looking forward to the kitchen being up and running in December.

Went for the first time and wasn't disappointed the food was lovely and served piping hot will go again on a stake night . To add to this review I went to celebrate my daughters birthday a table of eight . Service was poor not knowing what …
No bitter beers available, waited 40 minutes to be served food, this never appeared. Two couples walked out after no food arriving. Charged £6.70 for 1 pint of something called Neck oil, £13.40 for two pints, which wasn't good at all. No apology offered for non show of food. Extremely disappointed.
