Party of 38 people for late evening meals. The service was fantastic, along with the food. The food was quickly served, bearing in mind the amount of orders (38) from our group and the rest of the customers in the pub. No complaints from our group. The staff were very helpful. A*
Popped into the Hayride today while passing and had an excellent meal as always.
Extra large mixed grill was cooked perfectly and the steak was done as requested. Only downside was the sausage which was a poor example and would have been so much better if a few pence more was spent on a quality butchers style one.
Chick and mix for my 2 girls went down a treat, both enjoyed the choices they could make and food arrived piping hot.
My wife and son chose from the 2 meals for 12 99 menu. The steak pie was massive and fish and chips were fresh and with great batter.
All in all a great value meal, we will be sure to pop in again when passing.

The heyride is a nice modern attractive estate pub with an excellent choice of beer including cask conditioned real ale. There is an extensive food menu, with some great food. A large comfortable single room with TV's and a pool table. Outside seating, a children's play area and a large car park. The staff are very welcoming and best of all, unlike Wetherspoons the pub is DOG FRIENDLY.
Had an awesome time last weekend at the Hayride, staff were very helpful and was a great atmosphere. Food was good, and exactly what we expected. would go again anytime we are in the area.

Very busy pub, 8 of us chose the Flaming Grills Challenge 25 per cent off Fridays, booked ahead of arriving, when we ordered the food due to a large party told it would be approx 1hr till it came to the table, might be worth baring in mind, large variety of meals and deals on various nights along with OAP specials, I ordered the Ultimate Platter to share, The Big Mexican ( minus the very hot Scorpian Sauce, so be warned) and Sticky Toffee pudding, no complaints from the Group who had several different meals off the menu, only criticism appeared to be understaffed, although the bar staff and waitresses were very helpful and polite, definitely worth another visit
Pop in for food whilst passing by. Never been before but will definitely be back. The food was brilliant. Meat and chicken very tender. Beautiful sauce. Would highly recommend
Such lovely staff. Great atmosphere. Brilliant food options even for vegetarians! Dogs are also welcome! (dogs go at a certain side) Fantastic prices. They even have a dessert that if purchased, they donate to macmillan cancer support. Lovely place. Free parking
Steak was over done, did a fresh one which was cooked to my wifes taste but took way too long to come out. Staff accommodated very well. Other meals, 4 kids meals, 1 mac n cheese and a cheeseburger was all cooked very well.
