All too often, a happy first visit to a new venue becomes a disappointment on return. Not so at EYGC. Our first visit was so good we thought that it was a fluke. The return visit rewarded us with superb food, thoughtful service, and a decision to return again.
This kitchen knows and delivers good food. Our seafood sharing platter was the best we've had this side of Penang, or Bangkok, or Hong Kong - choose your own seafood memory.
The music's a bit variable. First time a little loud, second time all was calmer. Haven't eaten at the dog friendly open area at the back yet, the weather was against us, but our two Schnauzers will report back asap
A great addition to Beverley's restaurant scene. Hope they get the support that their kitchen deserves.
Had a fantastic time with good friends on Saturday. Atmosphere in the place is amazing and staff so unbelievably helpful with gin recommendations and the fact that we had a vegan and a vegetarian in our party! Would thoroughly recommend! Sam and Cameron are fabulous!
my ribeye steak was cooked perfectly med rare the way I like, the sauce was excellent the vegetables were grilled fresh, mashed potatoes in cast iron, and salad was perfect very excellent meal. Having tea and enjoying watching the people scurry about the street crossing.
Nora was pleasant and kind.

Sat in the pretty and large (for the centre of town) garden with friends and three dogs.
It was very congenial and comfortable. The food was delicious and the waitress was unintrussive but aware of us. I will certainly return and try an indoor visit but I loved this bar!
Great atmosphere and wonderful gin garden!
Staff are friendly. Its 'up-market' so charges accordingly. If you want a cheap drink, go elsewhere. You want a quality drink, you pay the price.
Went in on Xmas Eve. Lady behind the bar was running around doing 2 or 3 orders at once. She was great. Think we came in at an unlucky time when the machine for soft drinks broke plus the garnishes all ran out. Otherwise a nice venue if not a little bit expensive
Great selection of gin. Would be 5 star if not for the slow service and only 3 customers at the bar. Beer garden was great in good weather.
Nice modern bar with an old twist. Just off the market square in Beverly. Had my favourite gin so I was very happy
