Great find as we were exploring on Sunday. A proper, friendly and good pub food at very reasonable pricing. Quality of the meats for the Sunday roast were good. Certainly not using pre packed meat slices other places use. Will definitely come back.
This could be such a nice pub, but it needs a lot of TLC.
Inside looks tired, carpets are worn and dirty.
Outside the benches are rotten, the catering van looks like it hasn't been used …
Out on a walk and popped in here at the half way point. Staff were very helpful. It was a nice pint and a very tasty cheese and onion cob to get me started on the journey back to the car
Beautiful country pub with superb food and drinks. Live music, karaoke & DJ’s on select occasions. Very helpful and informative staff. A cracking country pub in the heart of the English countryside.
