Ordered takeout once. The special fried rice, the salt and pepper chicken and the squid were amazing. I especially loved that the squid was in a cardboard box rather than a plastic container. Really good portion sizes. The vermicelli was a bit underwhelming but otherwise was great

The food is very good. Service is ok but the staff are not engaging. Have been there many times and mostly it is empty of customers so lacks atmosphere It would be disappointing to lose this restaurant as the food is very good and the takeaways are good also.

Came in this evening. My buddy ordered lotus rice. Ha ds down the best rice ever.... not just for display. Steamed mixed meat and veg in a lotus leaf. Amazing restaurants. Deffo coming back

Great staff, great food and good atmosphere. Food is obviously a little more pricier than other places but the quality of the food is excellent, worth every penny. The owners are very passionate about chinese food and it really shows! It is a family run restaurant so if you want to support your local business and you love chinese food definitely give them a try. They have their own website or deliveroo for delivery. Call in to place takeaway orders, collection or to reserve a table. They deliver within 3 mile radius, give them a call to see if they deliver to your address.

Food is tasty, restaurant is clean, and the staff are very friendly too. I recommend for both takeaway and eat in - its cozy, comfortable and has nice decor, Ideal for any occasions. I took the wife there yesterday, she very much enjoyed it too. Very reasonable prices. Also worth noting that (only) the Chicken is halal.

Our go to in the area. Skillful Cantonese cooking and friendly staff. Highly recommend the salt and pepper dishes, as well as the beef brisket ones. But so far all have been very good, and we are regulars. Pricing good value.

Best local Chinese we have found and we have lived in the area for over 3 years. This place is a gem. Ordered a takeaway that arrived in 20 minutes - fresh and hot. Everything that should’ve been crispy was crispy and no sogginess! Roast pork belly was delicious - flavoursome with a lovely accompanying gravy. Sweet and sour chicken was really tasty and not too sweet as some other places can be. Very pleased we have discovered this place - THANK YOU NEW HING LOON!
