First time at Anzar’s. What amazing food. So different from anything We have ever tasted. You know it’s good when you wake up still talking about it. The wine was so reasonable and good. Jo our waitress was friendly and so helpful with choices. Be patient and enjoy the atmosphere and drink, you need to wait for good fresh food. The starters were quick, but I was informed my main as it was chicken would take longer, as cooked from fresh. All beautiful and with the wait. We cannot wait to go back.

This place is a gem! Delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, attentive staff & good value. They let us order from the set menu even though it was after 5pm. Everyone really enjoyed their food. Fantastic flavours. I really love that it’s a family run independent business.

It was the first time we went to the restaurant and it won’t be the last time. We went on Sunday afternoon and took the 3 courses menu for £16.x per person and the food is good, portions are generous. Prices are good and staff were welcoming. They have couple of mediterranean / french dishes that I have not seen for a while and will try next time
