Tiffanys Food And Coffee

Lovely premises, lovely staff, great food. We went in with our two year old and were treated so well. Plenty of room for the pram, a free glass of milk, a balloon and colouring crayons for the wee one, fast service, the best cream tea we've had on our holiday, great pasty with coleslaw and salad and a delicious croque monsieur with the same salad and coleslaw. Even bought some pastries to go home with and all reasonably priced for the area and time of year. Just brilliant, we wish everyone there nothing but success.

They actually know how to make coffee. I was a barista for years and know what to look out for. They time and weight their shots and milk is steamed nicely without being burned. Porta-filter wiped between uses, groupheads are flushed each time. Tamping seems consistent. Obviously quality is going to vary among different baristas like any coffee shop but I doubt I'd ever get a bad coffee here due to the proper principles being applied. That being said, don't think that this method is any slower and you'll be waiting a long time as is the common misconception. You'll get a much better coffee and it will be made properly in the same amount of time as Costa would make a bad one. I've tried a few different coffees since moving to Bideford and this is the best one by far. Please go here and not Costa for the love of all things Coffee.
