Red Lion

Located on the High Street, easy to find, good variety of drinks and food. Atmosphere was great. Music selection was perfect. Our server had good knowledge of the alcohol selection and local beers. Friendly staff, easily accessible with good seating and layout. My nachos were tasty and my local beer was a good compliment to my food choice.

Visited The Red Lion for lunch yesterday and we were so impressed. I had Cod & Chips and my wife had the Scampi. The food was lovely and hot, my Cod was enormous! Fantastic value for money. The service was fast and the staff were very attentive and ever so friendly. I can certainly say we will be back very soon. Well done Red Lion, we were pleasantly surprised.

I have to say the welcome we received was warm & friendly a proper pub. Nothing was too much trouble, and the service & cleanliness was excellent. I met two friends I hadn't seen for ages over a 5-hour period and the staff looked after & interacted with us especially with the banter. The other customers were also friendly and on many occasions all customers were bantering with each other but not loud or boisterous just laughing & joking around the pool table area. I don’t write many reviews these days but made me feel like I was in a relaxed local pub back in the day. Whenever I’m in Billericay this will be my pub of choice 10/10

I enjoyed having a drink in this pub. It had a nice atmosphere and comfortable, nice looking seats. It felt cosy. The bar staff seemed helpful and friendly and they seemed pleased to serve me. The music was nice, and I enjoyed the selection of 80s music that they were playing, it brought back some nice memories for me. I liked the decor and the spacious feel of this pub.
