We ordered the pie of the day (chicken, ham and leek), fish finger sandwich, onion rings and triple cooked chips. Everything was absolutely amazing! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommend

My wife and I popped in for Lunch yesterday. The staff could not have been more friendly, welcoming and professional. I had the Calamari starter and my wife had the Nachos and both dishes were lovely, the sweet chilli sauce with the Calamari particularly nice. We then had the Gammon and the Scampi, both excellent again. Can well recommend this fine establishment, we will definitely be returning.

Walked from the pub up to Stanton moor and back. Lunch an a couple of excellent cask pints at the pub. Pie and chips was first class. Parents had scampi and a couple of starters. Both reported very nice. Update. Mum is driving so I got another pint :)

We came here at the start of a 4 hour walk through the most peaceful countryside one could wish for. The staff here are brilliant, very friendly, and very welcoming. They go above and beyond to make your visit special, and really take the time to look after you during your visit. We returned back here for dinner, and the food is sublime. I had the steak, which was probably the nicest steak I've ever had. Cooked to perfection, seasoned beautifully, and the truffle and parmesan chips were a delight.

Fairly priced and helpful staff make this a great place for walkers to stop off and enjoy a nice pint, or coffee if you'd prefer. Dogs are welcome and there are a number of water bowls kept behind the bar that they are more than happy to fill for you. Just ask staff when you arrive.

My friend and I ate at The Druid Inn yesterday for lunch. I attach the photo of our lovely food and also a photo of our bill. Although I do not live too far away from this pub/restaurant, this is the first time I have eaten here as I am a non-driver who is unlikely to be able to access this part of Derbyshire easily. Therefore I am not sure when I will eat here again, if ever. The atmosphere and ambience of the pub was great. As soon as you walk in there is a friendly vibe. The bar staff were all happy to talk or help, and smiley. The decor is really nice and homely, with photos of local landmarks on the wall, such as the Nine Ladies stones. The food came in reasonable time - not too slow, not too quickly - plenty of time for us to chat and enjoy our drinks. Our waitress was a lady called Anya. She was very helpful and happy to crack the odd joke. She made sure to check in on us to ask how the food was. As per the attached bill, I think the cost is reasonable for two mains, two puddings and four (mostly small) drinks. Just under £60 for all of that is not too bad going these days; some places would charge more than this. Toilets clean and well-stocked with loo roll. I do not always tip to be honest and I am hardly a super generous tipper but Anya was very gracious and grateful about the small tip I gave to her which was sweet. I have definitely been to restaurants where the waiting staff almost seem to expect a tip: it was not like that at all at The Druid Inn. A small mention also regards their outdoor sign: dogs and muddy boots welcome! :) A great experience - lovely food, hospitality, atmosphere, and left feeling it was money well spent. An easy 5 out of 5! Thanks again, Amy

We were greeted with a warm welcome every time we visited, very accommodating as they are also dog friendly inside and outside for eating and drinking. The food is reasonably priced and have a good selection on the menu. The portion sizes are very generous. There is a fantastic selection of gluten free options throughout the menu. Service is spot on with knowledge of the menu and timings. 10/10
