Cielo Italian

One of the nicest Italian restaurants in Birmingham. Lovely staff and very accommodating as always. No different from previous visits. Worth a visit if you haven't been. I had Tempura Prawns 🍤 for starter, they were delicious, could have eaten more! For main I had Fillet Steak 🥩with chunky chips and 🍏 apple and blackberry crumble for dessert with custard and ice cream. My partner also had the Tempura 🍤 prawns for main the Tournedo Rossini then Pannacotta for dessert. One of my special places to eat in Birmingham along with the nice glass of 🥂 wine I had. Had a wonderful night at Cielo, visited with my friend on Saturday night. We shared a seafood trio starter and also had artisan bread board, went well together. We both loved it, had couple of coctails, my champagne coctail was delicious, but sadly my friend wasn't too keen on their strawberry daiquiri. We also had mains, lamb trio main course and spaghetti bolognese, I loved my lamb very much, pasta was tasty,good...but not blowing my mind, although presentation was nice. Also wanted to say thank you to our lovely French waitress. Sadly I forgot to ask her name, but she was super attentive and looked after us very well:) we will definitely return.

We really enjoyed this restaurant, the set menu on Saturday afternoon was well worth the price, 2 large glasses of wine, bread & Olives and service included, all for about £75.00. The service was excellent, really friendly staff. Unfortunately we don't live local, we are from Essex. We were going to the NEC for a concert and didn't want the boring generic food on offer at the NEC, or the crowds. It was worth going to the restaurant even though the traffic getting across the other side was bad, but we made it.
