A full midweek dining room is a sight that makes me happy. Those who eat on school nights are committed gluttons, a different breed entirely to those that only go out on Friday and Saturday evenings. They know where the good stuff is at and they don’t want the hassle of waiting six weeks for it. They are the beating heart of the trade, the key to a sustainable business. If you can put bums on seats on a Tuesday and Wednesday night, you’ve succeeded. I doff my cap to you.
Visited as a large group which meant we were sat on a large table in the middle of the restaurant. Unfortunately the staff had to squeeze past us and the door opening/closing was annoying.
The food was excellent, all steaks were cooked perfectly and can definitely be recommended. I think returning as a couple will be a good option.
Classic restaurant with dishes that make you feel like each dish was made especially for you. They create food that looks like art work, and taste amazing! The place is extremely expensive. If the prices are too much is up to you but enjoy food that you probably never had before, this is the place for you.
We visited this as a family and everyone enjoyed their meals. The steaks, I am told, were excellent, unfortunately having a fish allergy, I was not able to try the steaks because they are cooked alongside shell fish. The 12 hour cooked brisket was an excellent alternative.
There is a lively atmosphere and the service is excellent. There is a particularly good Argentinian Malbec on the wine list, which goes well with the meat dishes, 'Porteno Malbec'. We all thoroughly enjoyed this wine, those who chose sea bass were also very pleased with this choice. Why only four stars? The limited choice for vegetarians, the contamination of the steak dishes with fish and it is bit pricey.
Came here on a weeknight with my friends celebrating my birthday, service was brilliant, were given a nice central table. The food is so so tasty, I have been here before and had recommended to my friends so thought I would let them experience it themselves and fiesta del asado did not disappoint! The steak is the best I've tasted in Birmingham, the creamed spinach side is so moreish, the portions are very generous - fantastic value for money and I will come back again and again!
The first time I ate at Fiesta del Asado I strolled over to the open kitchen after my meal and asked who had cooked my steak! The chefs looked around at each other, slightly nervous and concerned ... but when I told them it was the BEST steak I had ever eaten, the smiles quickly spread!!
Since that day I have lost count of how many times I have dined at this superb establishment but the food has been consistently great...

Fiesta del Asado is an absolute must for anyone who loves their steak - and actually for any other food lover!
Just experienced yet another taste of Argentina.
I would usually go for the fillet of beef, on the bone with Malbec sauce however, just for a change I went for the lamb.
A fantastic bottle of Malbec coupled with the rack of lamb, a match made in heaven.
Can't fault the service and romantic ambience of this restaurant.
Wonderful food. A menu filled with mouthwatering delights. Well prepared and customer service second to none.
The main course is generous and expertly prepared. I fully intend on returning. That is the best compliment offered. I highly recommend it to you.
The down side. It's very noisy, difficult to hear the good conversation and company that goes well with a good meal. The car park is too small, so take a taxi or park elsewhere. The main courses are mix and match; you chose a meat then add extras of vegetables and sauces but the meat dish is enormous. This means the average three course meal is in excess of £40 excluding drinks and tips.
But let me repeat myself- I couldn't recommend this Resturant enough and am looking forward to a swift return.
Great steaks. Very good food, service and atmosphere. Not cheap and a bit on the noisy side owing to the modern trend of the wooden floors and no tablecloths.
Will go again for special occasions.
Last week it was my birthday, so I decided to treat myself to a celebratory meal at Fiesta Del Asado with a few friends. Everyone I’d spoken to about this place waxed lyrical about how amazing their food was and what a wonderful atmosphere the place had, so we ventured up the Hagley Road for our first experience of Argentine cuisine. On arrival, it was quiet but had a homely and welcoming feel. The open kitchen filled the dining room with sounds and smells, and the staff were friendly and attentive to our every need. After perusing the wine list, we quickly decided on a bottle of Malbec to share. When in Rome! Now, I don’t profess to know anything about wine, and I’m not usually one for red, but this was really pleasant, with enough fruitiness for me to enjoy. Then it was onto the food menu. Visited with friends. Very authentic decor and cosy atmosphere. Starter calamari. Was really tasty. Had fillet steak for a main and can honestly say it was the very best steak I have ever eaten. Cooked rare and to perfection. A little pricey but well worth it.
First time going there tonight for celebration dinner. We are both big foodies, and love Argentinian food. It was exceptional; beautifully balanced, impactful with absorbing flavours.
Our steaks were perfectly cooked with all the flavours you would want to find with Argentinian barbecue, all the way through to the last bite.
Hoi and Manuel were both very thoughtful, entertaining and attentive servers, and made our dining experience a very happy and pleasant one.

A group of 13 of us came Saturday for my boyfriends birthday, our server was May-Ann and she was brilliant throughout, very polite and clear when discussing the menu, greeted each one of us individually as we arrived. The table was set beautifully and the food was delicious. Perfectly cooked steaks, and very well presented! They had a great selection of non alcoholic drinks for me and my boyfriend which was a bonus, we struggle to get anything fancy unless it contains alcohol lol. We all split the bill at the end and May-Ann handled it perfectly as it got quite confusing for us! Highly recommend this restaurant the atmosphere is fantastic! OH and the ratio of chocolate sauce to the churros was exactly right for a heavily pregnant woman that’s craving chocolate 🤣
I’m extremely satisfied with the service, I’m amazed. The food is spectacular, truly extraordinary. I’m positively surprised. The meat is super tender, from the starters to the dessert, everything is excellent. The service is also outstanding, with a very welcoming atmosphere, I felt very well-received, as if I were at home. A special thank you to the chefs and to Manuel for the service and treatment.

I am vegan but my partner isn’t but I knew he would love it here for his birthday. I wasn’t sure what I could have from the menu so I emailed them and they were so accommodating! They told me what I could have and what they could tweak for me to make it vegan. I was so impressed!
The staff were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. Especially our server Soha and the manager who was on shift last night. (I didn’t get your name sorry) The atmosphere was great, service was quick and the food was amazing! They even gave my partner a free little birthday dessert!
This will definitely be our new spot for special occasions!

We went here to celebrate my birthday yesterday, the first time here and the food was amazing. I had the black sausage starter, stirloin steak, and churros dessert. Everything was good, just the portion is slightly small for my partner... but we both really enjoyed it and will come again.

This is one of my favourite steak restaurants! We've been going here since 2017, and every single time we have always ordered the 'Bife Costilla'. Literally, that's all we ever eat here because it's so good!
It's interesting how the Bife Costilla has changed over the years. The price has definitely gone up these last few years, but the size and weight has increased as well. There was a time when it came with steak sauce and fries, but now this isn't included in the price (probably because there's 1kg of meat already on the plate!)
However, the quality and tenderness of the meat has always remained the same and this is why we always come back!
Of course, great service from the staff as always!
We have also seen some staff start from waitresses to becoming managers over the years, and although we are strangers to them, it's nice to see how they progress!
