We visited on 4th August for an early evening dinner to celebrate my sister in law’s 70th birthday and we were not disappointed. Lovely table location and the general ambience was first class. From the moment we walked into the restaurant until we left the staff were so attentive, highly professional and extremely friendly especially our lovely Bulgarian waitress Iliyana.
Menu was very good and the food was exceptional. We had a wonderful evening and we will definitely go back. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Food was good, but had a surly waitress, who spoke too quietly to be heard and moved not much faster than a turtle. The atmosphere was very canteen, lots of people talking loudly and enjoying themselves, but very echoey, which made conversations hard unless you also spoke up adding to the noise. Not really a romantic stop in the downstairs area we we're seated in. Drinks, for the price were very average, we didn't but more and went to the alchemist across the green for cheaper better cocktails. Happy birthday profiterole was a nice touch. Good food, just not what you really expect from the Ivy name.
Excellent in all ways. Top quality food, service and atmosphere and it doesn't cost the earth either. The two course menu is great value, I'd recommend it.
Absolutely wonderful. Service was beyond amazing, food was delicious and drinks were as tasty as they were aesthetically pleasing. Went for my graduation, we were offered a complimentary dessert to celebrate to occasion. Will most certainly be returning, thank you for the amazing service!
The table service was professional and fast and the food was hot and full of flavour. Overall, I would say the price is high but it is worth every penny for the quality food and experience overall. Additionally, there is now a daily specials menu that significantly reduces the price, making it much more affordable (£13.95 for one main).
Spent a great couple of hours here with my Dad for his belated birthday lunch. The place is fabulous inside, beautifully decorated and the food was excellent. I had the shepherds pie and Dad had the chicken. I had a dessert and they bought my Dad out a birthday dessert with a candle in. Also had a cocktail and finished with a coffee. The young lady that waited our table was great, friendly and courteous. Would definitely recommend
Came to celebrate my friends 21st, great service throughout. Food was incredible, as anticipated. During our visit, one of our friends became unwell (unrelated to the food/drink) the service was just amazing, staff ensured she was okay and asked if there was anything they could do to help. We had a fabulous time. We came as a surprise 40th birthday meal for a close friend. The whole experience was brilliant. The decor and ambience is perfect, it's buzzing, but not overly raucous, the staff friendly and helpful.
We started with some cocktails at the bar, they actually had pisco, which is unusual, but meant I could have a pisco sour. We got taken to a table upstairs in the private dining area, this was as an apology for having to wait 20 mins for the table - which we didn't mind as we had lovely seats at the bar.
The food, wine selection and cocktails were excellent. We had a superb time, and would recommend this for a celebration meal.
We arrived here with our Dutch barber team for lunch. We enjoyed it so much! Friendly staff, professional and excellent service and food. Thanks for our great Birmingham experience. For my staff and myself it was the the best lunch in our weekend!
We decided to dine in here to celebrate our anniversary and was the best choice ever.
The service was just perfect and professional even if it was a busy hour. The food was perfectly cooked , salmon and steak was just wowwww and we most especially loved the zucchini as it was crunchy and delicious. In the end the manager give us a complimentary dessert. Very much appreciate that you granted our request and we had a lovely and happy celebration of our four years together in this restaurant.
