Fabulous Sunday roast sharing platter. We were hungry but couldn't quite finish the very generous helping. First class attentive waiter Gaz. I would recommend it.
Had a lovley day yesterday mother's day had table booked for 5pm but arrived early at 3.30 asked if we could have an earlier slot said not a problem &seated us straight away waitress came within 5mins with free glass of fizz for mother's day. Came back after few mins to take order starts came within 15 mins & were lovley mains arrived about 10 mins after we finished starter's .All food was delicious & waitress was lovely it's the second time we have been there & both times have had excellent service and food highly recommend it
We came here for Sunday breakfast after a late night. It was buffet style of excellent quality, and for the price, I cannot see how it could be beaten. Impeccable service as well made this one of the best breakfasts had. I now have to come back in the evening to try their steaks!
Came here yesterday for lunch. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our table where our wonderful waitress, Katie O, made us feel welcomed and ensured we had a brilliant visit. She was attentive and very helpful when recommending things from the menu.
The food was extremely good value for money. Portions plentiful and tasted great and the drinks were very affordable too. Will definitely be returning in future.
Began with a Birra Moretti, which was quite flat and not very good. My second drink was an Asahi, which was a lot better.
I had the butchers block meal for around £15. The sausages were cooked to perfection and the sauces were exceptional. I didn't think too much of the French fries.
My date had the chicken souvlaki on a skewer for around £20. The souvlaki was superb.
Look forward to returning and trying the steak.
Bar service could be improved.
We went for bottomless brunch, we were welcomedbto our table, vegan brunch was amazing, I recommend chimi churi veg, service was outstanding. We were served by Jacob who was professional, very friendly and chatty. It was really good to have a naturally personable waiter . We were left with great memories, he's an asset to Bar and Block. Will definitely ho back there. Cocktails are amazing
What amazing food! Probably one of the best steaks we've had in the region for some time.

Really lovely meal with the family. We attended just before the JLS concert. Immediately informed at the front door that there may be a wait on drinks & food. Although we had the concert to attend to we had 2 hours.
The staff were very obviously running on very short numbers, but their efforts to try to see to everyone as soon as possible was very apparent.
Despite the wait times, a very pleasurable experience with great service from Emily and the manager. Credit where credit due!
We loved our waitress and tipped her. She made me a drink up specially because I liked the sound of a non alcoholic drink but wanted a drop of alcohol in it. Nothing was too much and was so kind.
Food was incredible! Very calm atmosphere and peaceful.
Spent £70 between the 2 of us for steaks, chips and 2 drinks. Would absolutely come again!

Awesome steak house. Had the 12oz fillet which was delicious and reasonably priced. Servers were friendly and accommodating. The place was very quiet so we didn't get to experience the atmosphere but the food and service was wonderful. The homemade steak sauce they make up is to die for. Only negative were the onion rings which weren't very nice. Around £150 for starters mains sides and 4 alcoholic drinks for 3 people. The place is definitely recommended.
Excellent lunch option, nice atmosphere, food was very nice. The lunch offer is definitely value for money (for 2 people less than £40 for sirloin steaks and a starter each).
The hostess took an allergy very seriously and went above & beyond
Called in here after seeing them when staying at premier inn Waterloo street Birmingham. The staff were friendly and helpful and found us a table even though it was a couple of days after our night in the hotel. The buffet style breakfast was excellent, even though it was buffet the cooked stuff was hot and fresh prepared in full view of the guests. It would be easy to pig out so self restraint was necessary! The Continental breakfast was also excellent. We can highly recommend this restaurant thank you.
