Been coming here for longer than I care to remember, and have never had a bad experience. From bringing my young family to wonder at the table naan, and countless hilarious dinners with my school friends, when the place looked like a transport cafe but had the best curry in Brum, I’m always amazed that it’s so easy to get a table. We worried whether it would be as good when we tried its new iteration for the first time, the staff remembering what two of my party (pescatarians) had eaten on a previous visit (!) soon put our minds at rest. It’s still the best, and whenever friends and family visit from around the country, when asked where they want to eat always say: “Can we go to Adil’s?” despite the fact that there are probably fifty good curry houses between my house and Stoney Lane. But it’s always worth making the effort for the best quality. And remarkably, it isn’t expensive either. But don’t tell anyone, I still want to be able to get a table next time......
Sheik Kebab to die for, Baltis superb, table naan to sleep on and the sweets from Rasmalai to Barfi just as they were in the 1980's. Top notch!
The best Balti restaurant in the triangle for that matter in Birmingham !! I can say that with some authority as I have tried quite a few of em now and nobody else comes close. Have been to Adil’s for many a late night meals and never been disappointed. I like my curries hot and breads crisp and they get it right everytime. My go to dishes are the lamb chops and chicken tikka chilli masala with crisp rotis. Do try 👌👌

The good people of Britain are in debt to Adils. Way back in 1977 when a Findus crispy pancake would be classed as an adventurous dinner, a family arrived from northern Kashmir, bringing with them the very first Balti to these shores. From this small restaurant on a residential street in Stoney Lane led to the famous Balti Triangle, as well as a national obsession of going for a curry, with or without the seven pints of lager beforehand in the pub. I, like many others, am prone to waking up on a Sunday morning with a sore head, curry on my shirt and stained fingers. It’s my badge of honour, earned over many years of king-sized naans and table-top renditions of songs from The Little Mermaid. Going to Adils would be my Jerusalem; the place I could dip my daily bread into the hallowed pressed-steel Balti dish.
Visiting from Coventry we booked this restaurant for our family of 18. From booking the table the customer service was excellent and the staff were polite in assisting with parking. We changed the timing on the day from 1 till 12 and the staff were very accommodating, food was on time and tasted amazing. No complaints the service was fast efficient, with clean toilet facilities, friendly waiters. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone it’s a great setting and perfect for family's. Can’t wait to visit again.
Very good, great service from waiter and manager. Food was excellent, served quickly and seated upon arrival. This is my second visit with friends. Manager was a great host and welcoming. Food arrived very quickly for starters and plenty of sauces/salads. Mains were made fresh and very nice. Desserts were good. Adils is a hidden gem and very authentic cuisine with keen focus of flavours and quality.
Returned here after a very long time and had the best Garlic Chilli chicken I've ever had.
Waiters were extremely helpful and the atmosphere was great. Thank you for a wonderful meal and evening.
See you again soon!
Just truly unbelievable and authentic food with 5 star service every single time that I have visited. An absolute gem and a must if you fancy a curry when in Birmingham. Get in a cab, visit here and you will get your £5 cab fare back in price and service alone.
The restaurant has had a facelift since our last visit over five years ago as we've been living elsewhere. The food however is just as good as ever. Worth a visit and alcohol available next door of you want it as not available in house.
I have to say I was very impressed with the food. Amazing tastes and their enormous naan bread was a nice surprise. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Its a great place to check out if your in Birmingham. Highly recommended.
Very nice, floor had poppdoms all over it before we sat down. But very tasty food. Nice staff. No alcohol but can bring your own.
Really nice place. I haven't been for a while and I will be back again soon. This was my children's first Balti experience, one went for byriani and the other chicken nuggets and chips, maybe next time! Loved the jug of soft drink at the table. Really enjoyed the Kathlama that I can only ever get in the Midlands. The Balti meat was great. I was just really pleased to be back at home in Birmingham eating a Balti with my family.
Loved it! One of the best Balti in Birmingham. Lots of food at reasonable price. We ordered Balti chicken karahi, Lamb karahi, Samosa, and seekh kebab platter. Definitely worth going.
A great place to eat been going there to eat for years .excellent food .brilliant service and very friendly and welcoming staff ...the only downside is I wish it was here in West Bromwich as I'd eat there more times a year than I do now .
Defiantly 5 stars from me
