Best brunch in Birmingham without a doubt. Interesting and creative menu, delicious food and great coffee.
Beautiful decor in this new eatery! I was served by a really friendly lady called Amelia who couldn’t do enough to help the customers & the food was delicious. I had an Americano and a tofu baguette � So happy as Digbeth has been lacking a decent new lunch place for yonks �
Been here in the evenings when it’s serving tapas so thought I would give the place a late breakfast. Really good quality produce used, ciabatta bread really nice. Good section of refrigerated drinks. And the white chocolate and raspberry cookie was out of this world.

First time here and loved the feel of it. The character of the place is vintage. I only ordered a latte and it tasted OK. I was meeting a friend for business. I love latte or any hot drinks and always keen on independent coffee shops. The location is within the custard factory and a bit out of the way for me as I work in the city centre but if you happen to be in the area then this must be your number 1 place.
Lizzie, Emily and the rest of the staff were so accommodating when I visited Kanteen last week. They allowed me to spend most of the day working here with my dog (not many pet friendly cafes in the area atall)! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was just right. :)

After walking into the door hard thinking it would open and venting my feelings with a swift kick to the door, I treated myself to a pork belly meat bagel and oh my days it was succulent juicey and very tasty! The bread/bagel was very fresh and so nice!
Very cute place. The food looks and is amazing and there is a great tea and coffee selection. Can recommend the apple spice tea. The atmosphere is welcoming abd so are the people working there.
Hidden gem in the square adjacent to the Custard Factory, I popped in for breakfast on a sunny Thursday morning and received a warm, friendly and inviting welcome. Their breakfast/brunch menu offers a range of omnivorous, veggie and vegan friendly dishes freshly prepared in the kitchen. From Simple Porridge (£3.50) to the signature Kanteen BLT Paleo (£7.95). Fentimans & Frobisher juices and like-minded cold drinks complement standard fare hot drinks. My Flat White was perfectly foamed, decorated and delicious (£2.40). There's also a selection of pastries, filled and unfilled croissants to enjoy. Soulful music creates a relaxed and pleasant ambience - and great to listen to the staff happily greet and chat to their customers. A really nice place to be. Recommended.
High quality food food for both vegan and meet eaters served here. A good range of cakes, coffee and tea and dairy alternatives .

Popped in last week while visiting Birmingham for the first time. Great Allpress coffee, super friendly staff and immaculate vibes. Next time i’ll be back to eat too!
