Excellent place and helpful staff, I found exactly what I wanted
I don't know why but I really like IKEA, it's well cool and this store just off junction 9 of the M6, is a big store with loads of parking space. But it can get very busy at times...
A wide variety of products, selling everything from cushions to wardrobes and 60p 🌭 hotdogs to beds, plus most things in-between.
There is some really good quality stuff, that give good value for money among the items for sale - all you have to do is sort it out and pick your own taste
Absolutely massive!
This is a great store, little bit of an awkward location to get too, but they have everything you could possibly need and more.
I think there should be an introduction video online for first time shoppers to prepare you for the overwhelming size and range of choices they have!
You can eat at the cafe, half-way-around, and even buy food to take home after you’ve paid for your furniture!
It’s definitely a ‘day-out’ and needs at least two hours set aside to even get around everything.
Better than shopping online. Great displays, lots of ideas and yes the prices have risen like everywhere. However very pleased with our purchases. Every member of staff super helpful. And to top it off a part needed for a hi-lo desk bought several years ago was sent direct to me f.o.c. Thanks to excellent customer service team. And now the desk is back working⬆️⬇️ again. We also ate at the refurbished restaurant it was busy but clean, nice food and very good coffee with free fefills. All in all consistently good and very fair value.
I hadn't been to IKEA for about 6 years but found it hasn't changed. Brilliantly and efficiently laid out to make the most of the space. Lots of example rooms on display which realistically represent the small spaces so many of us now have to reside in. Couldn't visit IKEA without experiencing the "mandatory" meatballs and jelly. No change there either....lovely!
A very big IKEA STORE as if you wanna see every ausleihen and everything in that store you should bring enough time.
Cause if you just do a round from Begin to End it will take you around half hour (30 Minutes).
Overall i like the place it is big very good big space to go Shopping with whole family it has a RESTAURANT with the food is everone's choice (mine's not)
A very good PLANT-SECTION and also the IKEA WORKER are helpful especially in the KITCHENSECTION
The TV-STAND is from IKEA and the Coffetable as well !!
My Opinion Some stuff from IKEA is really good and the quality as well !!
It's good, very big but very far from Birmingham, if you have car then it's fine but if you go via bus then you need to walk for 1mile up in the end and you can't carry heavy stuff. Wide variety available, its so big that you may lost inside.
The shop has had a refit since we visited last time. All looked very nice and the Xmas shop has some nice things.
The breakfast in the restaurant is definitely getting worse. The vegetarian sausages are more like stuffing. One slice of toast is now 75p WITHOUT butter. It is the cheapest bread they use as well. Not much of a queue now at 9.30 as people are not bothering.
Staff were really helpful and polite. We went on the spure of the moment at 8 o'clock on a saturday night. Place wasnt to busy at this time, you could do with a few hours to have a good look around. Be prepared to spend more than you planed as theirs lots of choice.
I love This Place 👍
And the kids love it too
It's like an alternative family day out when it's raining and we just love the food here.
So yeah, it's an alternative place to eat as well.
Teenagers are so fussy about food but, no issues here.
It's not as cheap as it used to be and the cheese cake wasn't as good as I remember but overall we had a great time.
The peoples furniture store. Just off the M6 ( Jct 9 ) so ideal for anyone to get to if living in the greater West Midlands area. Nice huge car park that is free. Click and collect is to the far side on the right as you drive in with bays marked out for collection. You cant miss the store with its Swedish style colouring of yellow and blue. There is everything to suit all kinds of budgets and styles and fashions. Wether you live in a bedsit or a mansion there is something for everyone and the quality is second to none. Returns policy is straight forward and I have never had an issue. Get there early, enjoy a leisurely breakfast ( very cheap and lovely food ) and amble through the store at your own pace, there are always fab displays and ideas and things you weren't expecting so do look in all the nooks and crannies for ideas. The peoples furniture store is a 1 stop shop for all your needs you wont be disappointed.
