Best Sunday roast we’ve ever had (not at home) outstanding beef, crispiest roasties and delicious veggie option. Easily best roast dinner in kings heath. Unfortunately only got pic of our starters as was too keen to tuck into mains!
A legit wine nerd wine bar, but still VERY down to earth for those of us who don't know much... Surprisingly good cannoli too? I'll take it.
Finally got to Grace and James while waiting for a table at Poli next door but defiantly could have stayed! The Charcuterie board looked lovely and there are lots of local wines and a constantly changing menu mean there’s always a reason to return. Inside you can reserve a table or sit on someone else’s until they arrive, I loved looking out onto the high street watching the summer nights. The craft beer selection was also good and service was great. However one quick recommendation is that you just have to head over to the bar and pick up the menu as when you walk in the staff are side on to the door preparing the cheeses and there aren’t any boards with the beers / wines etc, so don’t let this put you off :)
The best restaurant in Kings Heath with a great selection of wines. The service is friendly they are very knowledgeable on the food and drinks served. The menu changes regularly, and is always delicious. There are good veggie options. It can get busy so make a reservation if you can. There is parking on York Rd very close by.
You are always made to feel welcome. Amazing knowledge of produce and wine. Good neighbourhood vibes and fantastic sandwiches!
Great atmosphere, nice flat white and I noticed a lot of nice wine. Looks like somewhere to come back to in the evening as well.
Only popped in for coffee so can’t comment on the wine/deli. Very friendly barista and the coffee was unreal.
Can't help but go to Grace + James for cheese and wine. It's also nice sitting outside and having a drink or bite to eat.

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch here to celebrate my daughter's 28th birthday 🎂 (where have the years gone). 3 in our party had the roast beef with veg, the white cabbage was delicious and so were the roasties and I had the lamb with all the veg and really good dark, thick gravy, just how I like it. We didn't have starters or desserts as we knew how filling the Sunday roast mains were but the glass of dessert wine and cappuccino rounded my meal off nicely. Lovely relaxed vibe in the restaurant upstairs and great service 👍, if I lived in Kings Heath I wouldn't bother cooking a Sunday dinner again I would just book in here. Really enjoyable couple of hours all round, thank you.
