A friend recommended Giancarlo's last year and we have just got around to trying it out........ what a fabulous little gem of a restarant it is. The family run the restaurant with freshly cooked food that is amazing - I don't usually comment on nights out but this was such a different experience to the usual hum drum pre-cooked food that you get in most pub grub places - would recommend a visit and see for yourself

Last minute booking Thursday evening for 21 people ! From the time we arrived till leaving the staff were amazing. There food was fantastic and very well managed considering there was only 1 chef and 2 waitress plus the lovely owner , wish we lived a bit closer to go more often !

This restaurant is tremendous. The food cooked by Giancarlo is perfect, Monica keeps everything under control and Umberto keeps the customers entertained. Highly recommended.

The loveliest, warmest welcome from this wonderful family. We were made to feel like family from the moment we walked through the door. Food was superb, service second to none, atmosphere authentic Italian and great value for money. We love it.

We were recommended Giancarlo by an Italian and their recommendation was spot on. This place is perfect. Food is top quality, the staff are top quality and the older gentleman on the front of house. What a guy loves his stories and his passion. Thank you for a great night.

A wonderful, welcoming dining experience. The food was fresh, delicious and generous. A really friendly place - which was lovely as I was a lone diner on business. A great value set menu too. Will definitely return when I’m back in the area.

We ordered some cold platters for a celebration party and they were so good. Everyone commented at the party and there was not a scrap left! We've also had hot food for a party before now and that was just as amazing. A family run, local restaurant with wonderful, friendly owners. Will definitely use them again.
