I loved it there, couldn't rate it higher due to my own comparison with other sushi restaurants.

In Chinatown, next to Las Iguanas. Staff were very friendly and quick, when we went in it was lunchtime on a Saturday, not that busy. There is upstairs seating too (not accessible for wheelchair users), which is also where the toilets are. Decor is quite nice, and there is a little fountain inside too. Food came quickly and hot. I would say there's not a lot of vegetarian food options but if you are a sushi lover, there is quite a lot of sushi. I had the prawn tempura ramen, which was a good sized portion. Prices are reasonable, not too expensive.

What a lovely find!
I originally planned on visiting somewhere else, but they didn't cater for food allergies. So I stumbled across Ten Ichi.
The staff are excellent. Really attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant. The sushi is amazing! I could have eaten several of the hand roll. The sushi I had wasn't actually on the menu, they created it for me which was greatly appreciated.
I had some plum wine which was lovely! The atmosphere was very chilled, I took my time over a lovely lunch. I also really appreciated the hand sanitiser on every table.
Excellent place, I will definitely be back.

Loved the freshly prepared sushi and sashimi boat. One of my favourite is the seaweed salad. This is the third time I went there and each time been happy with the food.
On the sidenote the piano classical music needs improvement to lighten the atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time at this Japanese restaurant today! Everything about our visit was top-notch.
First and foremost, the price is incredibly reasonable. For just £10 per meal, we enjoyed a delicious feast. We both ordered dishes with crispy meat and katsu sauce, and they were absolutely mouthwatering. My girlfriend's crispy chicken with rice and katsu sauce was flavorful and cooked to perfection, and my crispy pork with rice and katsu sauce was equally delightful.
The service was impeccable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured that we had a memorable dining experience.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better Japanese food outing. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food at an affordable price. We'll definitely be back!

I think I found the sushi I love after so many attempts at so many different sushi restaurants in Birmingham or nearby. This is the best out of all.

The best bargain for Japanese food in the neighborood, I had a good meal without fuss. Service is good and ingredients are fresh. Interesting decoration. By comparison in the area, kyoto is similar priced but not nearly as good and Takumi is much more delicious but be prepared to pay very steep prices.

Food is quite large, bento looks amazing. Service is awesome. But ramen is a bit light not really authentic.

Pleasantly surprised at the portion size of the ramen. Staff were friendly and we didn’t feel rushed. We asked for sparkling water and we were given still and even though it’s on the menu I don’t think even stock it, which is somewhat unusual as it’s a fairly normal thing for a restaurant to have.
