I use this chippy very often as it's my local. The overall service of this place is brilliant and I'd highly recommend it. I normally order from the specials menu and I find the quality and quantity of the meals to be great! I often order a sausage special or a chicken meat and chips and they both are incredibly done, the portions are very good and the price is amazing - keeps me coming back again and again. Staff are always lovely and welcoming too.
I’ve been using this chip shop for years and I’m quite a fussy eater… 10/10 for these guys! Chips are always lovely and fresh, food is great here and worth every penny! Almost like a luxury takeaway in my eyes. Very clean, staff are friendly and work really hard.

There were about half a dozen people in the queue before me, but I was served in no time at all. The fish and chips were piping hot and cooked well. The shop was very clean and the staff professional and friendly. Recommended.

I have used Chris's for about 50 years now, from living there to calling in when I am back visiting. For me it will always be the number 1 Chippie. I have never had any issues with the service or food.
Attended Chris's fish bar for a take out, staff were lovely and friendly. Got home with the food, it was absolutely lovely and fresh which we really enjoyed. The other thing the price was very reasonable. Definitely will visit again.
Very enjoyable fish and chips with mushy peas for under £4. Huge selection of food if you fancy something different to the usual chippie
Lucas, Anna, Eleanor (I think) have gone out of their way to produce lightly battered cod for me, it's amazing. Never too much trouble,
Could do with just a few more chips per portion, but wouldn't go anywhere else.
