Laven Pillay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A brilliant, local pub! As others have said, it's a great place to have a (cheap!) pint (3-4 pound) and chat with locals. Went there on my first day in Birmingham, and then went back today. Will …

A comely place where you get to speak with the locals. One of the few classical town pubs left in Brum, which would be a real shame if it were to be knocked down. Since the last time I visited, in 1967, it has changed much, with pool …
James Westwood ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fantastic little pub, just off broad St. Good old style pub culture. Amazing!
Noel Callaghan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Top local boozer. Decent beer and lovely people. Was on a work trip staying at a hotel down the road and a few of us nipped in for a couple. Guinness was really good and so was the price.
Neil Counter ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great traditional pup, a group of us called for a few on a Friday, it was fairly quiet when we arrived but after a few minutes it was quite lively it was a great atmosphere and the land and barman were fab. The prices were reasonable too. …

Hidden gem. Genuinely home cooked food - just £5 for a hot and tasty curry - have to give a 5* for food for that alone. Very friendly inside, don't be put off by appearances or assume it's just an estate pub. Music in background was great if you're an 80s fan too.
