Marcos fish bar in Birmingham is fantastic. The restaurant is a take out exclusively and is busy. The shop is kept clean and well maintained. The fish portion is generous. The photo may not look it but the large fish and chips is huge compared to even Canadian/American standards. The prices are very good as well. Chips are good and seasoned for you. After eating here I didn’t feel horrible afterwards and even the next day. That’s when you know you’ve had good fish and chips. They do not have gluten free options. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely shop and very friendly staff! Both the owner and employees always ready to help with a smile and always there to help you decide your meal with some lovely suggestions and samples to try! Very well priced considering the cost of everything these days and compared to other takeaways! Perfect fish size, perfectly cooked and delicious kebabs! Also love the southern fried chicken! Highly recommend!

What an absolutely excellent meal every time. The chips are perfectly cooked, seasoned extremely well and hit the spot every time. I often find myself coming to Marco’s when I’m feeling down as I know the food will pick me right back up. I am a die hard fan of the fish too. Keep up the good work, guys.

Always have to stop by when I'm visiting Birmingham. The fluffy, large chips with vinegar are my favourite; chicken is well seasoned and tasty! The staff here are consistently welcoming and generous. Great prices and portions with a homely atmosphere - happy.

Great long standing chipshop been around ever since i was in diapers, quite a rarity these days. Always has been our families go to fast food, quality has been consistent for years.

The owner was such a humble and welcoming guy aswell as the gentleman serving. Had the fish and chips which was nice and fresh deffo recommend.
