As a local chip shop the food constantly great. I tried a piece of SFC and chicken doner burger. Tasty piece of chicken and quality chicken doner burger which was good size and filling.
One of the best takeaways I have had delivered for as long as I can remember, fresh flaky fish with perfectly cooked batter, chips were perfect and our kebab was amazing and all piping hot, thank you
Not my normal chippy as ours was closed but glad we tried this place. The fish was to die for and the chips were super. Me and my partner will be using this place from now on.
Excellent chippy! Crispy batter, great fish ( we had cod and haddock), the chips were tasty and cooked well, I even preferred the mushy peas to the ones on offer elsewhere. Delivery was fast; the food was hot. On top of all that - the website options were flexible and glitch free, great value : our new favourite chip shop.
Came here based on reviews and the fact my wife tried this plaice (get it 🤣) before me. Gotta say the food here was really good. Very tasty and very little grease coming from the food too. Chips were nice and fluffy, fish was cooked really well and the doner meat I had was not dried out our overcooked. Price of my takeaway was just over £12 but considering the amount of food I had, it was really good. The staff member who served me was very friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back again
Used the website to order, food came in good timing and still super hot! All tasted very fresh and good portion size. Had to call to amend my order and staff where super helpful and so polite. Will continue to use weekly abs highly recommend 👌
Enormous fresh cod with crispy batter. Well cooked chips. Ordered for a family birthday get together and everyone was happy and full. Delivered to our door. Mushy peas look alarmingly green but taste very good 😊
This has been my local chippy since I moved into the area in 1992 aged 7. Food has always been consistently good. Only place locally to sell 100% lamb donner (confirmed via anonymously calling them and asking). Nice burgers. Tasty donner. Little pricy, but the quality is better compared to cheaper halal alternatives.
Any bad review is a one off. Been going here for 5 years and each time excellent cod and chips every time, not greasy, perfect batter and tasty potato chips plus always a friendly service. First class
I dont usually leave reviews but this place really deserves it. I ordered on just eat and the menu actually makes sense for a change and allows you to actually customise your food efficiently. I had a mix meat wrap (all 3 meats) it gives you options of individual salad items and a choice for sauce to be added multiple times to save yourself from a dry kebab! When the kebab arrived I had to eat some meat before I could even pick it up it was so packed! I also had some sf chicken which is one of the best I've had in literally years. Will be using again in the future 100% and will update the review for the usual items such as fish and chips. Thoroughly looking forwards to it. Value for money through the roof so far. Thanks guys!
