A decent public house, roomy with a nice outside area.
I didn't eat, so cannot comment on the cuisine.
As I was riding my scooter I only had soft drinks.
The atmosphere was friendly. A karaoke was on as it was a bank holiday.

Went to a 60th birthday bash in the function room. The pub arranged it by putting on a finger buffet decorations & supplying the DJ all for a very reasonable price.
We had an absolutely fantastic night & the staff were polite & friendly. Definitely recommend for that special occasion.

The Raven is a good old fashioned working class public house, I know most of the people who frequents this establishment and I always comfortable here because the patrons are down to earth unpretentious salt of the earth folk who I have grown up with. It is one of four public houses that I use in the Birmingham 8/34//36 postcodes.
