Our 2nd time here, we came a few months ago for my partners birthday. We went to see ABC at the Birmingham Symphony Hall and ate again at Lulu Wild, a great Chinese restaurant. Good choice of restaurants and cafes at Brindley Place. Lovely area to walk around with fountains and along the canal side. We stayed in the Premier Inn just a few minutes walk across the road.

Brindley Place is a culinary haven! The array of restaurants caters to every palate, from exquisite fine dining to cozy cafes. The dining experience here is not just about the food; it's an immersion into diverse flavors and ambiance. The waterfront setting enhances the dining atmosphere, creating a unique blend of relaxation and sophistication. Beyond the gastronomic delights, Brindley Place has become a hub for cultural experiences. The art installations, events, and performances contribute to a vibrant tapestry of creativity. Whether it's a leisurely stroll along the canal or attending cultural events, there's a constant buzz of energy that encapsulates the spirit of Birmingham. Living here for five years allowed me to deeply connect with the city's cultural richness, making Brindley Place an unforgettable chapter in my life. Brindley Place boasts a diverse range of restaurants, such as: 1. Bank Restaurant & Bar: Offering a blend of British and international cuisine, it's a perfect spot for a classy dinner with a view. 2. Piccolino: A delightful Italian restaurant, providing an authentic taste of Italy with a charming atmosphere. The Canalside Cafes are definitely a must visit for a casual brunch or coffee by the water, providing a relaxed setting to enjoy the picturesque surroundings. Like jujus, a bit of a walk following the canals, but definitely worth it. In terms of cultural experiences, Brindley Place hosts events like outdoor concerts, art exhibitions, and festivals. The IKON Gallery, located nearby, is a contemporary art space that frequently features thought-provoking exhibitions. These examples highlight the rich tapestry of experiences available, making Brindley Place a dynamic and engaging community.

Great mixed-use development by the canal with restaurants, bars, and lots of entertainment options such as table tennis. The juxtaposition of the buildings with the trees provide a scenic view for those who are in the area. There’s space to sit on the steps by the water or on the seats in the multiple green spaces.

Visited this area of Birmingham as part of my sons graduation. We were there about 8 hours fir which the car park cost £14.00. It was literally a few minutes walk from the venue, very convenient. If you park further away there are cheaper car parks. The area is vibrant and buoyant. Busy but not crowded I didn't feel intimidated. The Commonwealth games had finished 3 days before so still a very uplifting atmosphere. So many cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. Many were busy with it being graduation day so we opted for slug and lettuce treating ourselves to a bottle of prosecco to mark the occasion. Very unexpected how welcomed and friendly everyone was. Much clearer and tidier than anticipated. Shall be returning again soon
