First of all The customer service was amazing with fantastic staff members, from the servers to the Cook's very welcoming me and my family were welcomed like we were part of their family felt good inside. Now the food we ordered 2 mix grills 2 large fries 🍟 and chicken ginger and lamb karahi 5 naan's, the mixed grills was so good forgot to take the pictures 😋😂 the chicken ginger was really good and the lamb was just as good if not a little bit better, you go to some restaurants and the gravy is the same in all their meats but here it was different it was just so good. You need to try this place out they have a family section you will feel very comfortable and relaxed. And top it off the Mango Lassi was the half a cherry 🍒 on top of the cake because the Tea and rasmalai that was a banging combination 🧨.

Great experience! Blonde waitress was absolutely amazing, so understanding when my son was throwing a tantrum. The food was better than I remember, 9 years since my last visit. Mixed grill was good and karahi was great!

Whenever I am in Birmingham, I make sure I visit this place, specifically, for their chicken karahi with fresh naan. I like their mutton karahi too but the chicken karahi is on another level.

We have been visiting this restaurant for many years and have been served by the amazing waitress who knows her stuff. She recommended bindi and it was 😋 We had ordered chicken tikka and fries but too hungry to take a picture of the starters. The chicken tikka was nice. The fries were surprisingly yummy. We love the sauces they give at this restaurant. The green yoghurt chutney and the red sauce is one to try. We also ordered chicken boneless handi and it was nice and children enjoyed it. Next time I will definitely try the chicken karahi. Mango lassi jug was tasty too. Service and food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing Pakistani food. A must try when you're in Birmingham.. Desi Dera surprisingly delivers best on service, quality, quantity and taste.. I had ordered Lamb Biryani (6/10), Lamb Tikka Karahi (9/10) and Mix Grill (9/10) The restaurant has got its own parking to top it off.. Will definitely come back again.👍👍👍

Thank you so much Dooina for looking after me and my family. Its so lovely to see such a hardworking waitress with good etiquette in the heart of Alum Rock. Desi Dera should be really proud of a staff member like you. Also we ordered the Lamb Karahi which is 10/10 cannot wait to return.

Perfect place if you want a homely atmosphere! I absolutely loved the food. There are also prayer mats at the back for anyone that needs to pray.
