Open plan kitchen allows customers to observe cooking, and cooks are attentive to quality. It was a little expensive compared to competitors, but service was courteous and food moreish. Definitely recommended for a Chinese takeaway

the food was incredible, especially the chicken yuk sung and the house special in black pepper sauce. the duck chow mein was also so so good. thank you so much. the complimentary drink and crackers were really appreciated. we will definitely be ordering again soon. thank you again!!

Amazing place, the best in Brum actually, I order via Uber Eats, and the last half a dozen times I've ordered have been stunning. This place, is by far the BEST Cantonese Restaurant I have shopped with in all of Birmingham City, and I've shopped with pretty much everybody. AMAZING service, DELICIOUS authentic food, and GREAT delivery. Cantonese Express are my No.1 place for authentic Cantonese Food in Birmingham. They have NEVER disappointed !! It's rare in this city, or any other globally, to bump into people that really mean it. They're AMAZING !! Thank YOU so much. A THOUSAND stars out of five.

It appears there’s been a change in management since many of the poor reviews. When I have been, it has been very different from most Chinese takeouts in that the kitchen is completely open plan so you can see for yourself the cleanliness the quality of the cooking. Most of the food is very good (esp the salt and pepper chicken/prawns) with some exceptions. It would be great to see some dumplings on the menu in the future

NEW MANAGEMENT got quite a way to go on the previous people but, food came on time, was hot, tasted fresh, really enjoyed it, one downside, i asked for MILD not into hot food, IT WAS FULL OF MUSTARD SEEDS AND EXTREMELY HOT, 4/5 tho in my opinion, they need to understand the diffrence between HOT & MILD, happy to try again have been a loyal customer for years, but if they drop the ball again, its back to The New City..........
