“The best fried chicken I've tasted in years” ★★★★★ TL;DR - The best fried chicken in my local area by far out of many fried chicken shops. Fried chicken and fries are literal perfection from all aspects and the golden standard of fast food. Give the hot wings a miss though. The Jumbo Strips wrap was delicious, yet it could welcome some add-on options (extra cheese, mayo, onions) on Uber Eats/Just Eat. I have been searching for a fried chicken place like this for AGES, I have tried many places in my local area and none come close to this. My order: - Party Buckets 1 (6 pcs chicken, 4 fries, 6 hot wings and 1.5ltr coke) - Jumbo Strips Wrap The fries are the *correct* thickness unlike the vast majority of other fried chicken shops these days. You also get that amazing flavour coming through, some other fries have no flavour at all but the fries from this place are the *golden* standard for a fried chicken shop. The chicken is phenomenal, the coating is crispy, has a great flavor and is well seasoned. The chicken is very juicy too, it arrived hot and fresh, it's always a *good* sign when the chicken arrives so hot that you struggle to break it apart. I really appreciated the cuts made after frying which made it easier to take apart. I received: 2 drumsticks, 1 thigh, 1 breast and 2 side breast pieces, all were perfect pieces. I'll be honest about the hot wings, I wasn't a fan, they were bland and not crispy, but do I care? No I don't and it will certainly not knock a star off the review as the rest of the food was perfect, I will simply not order the wings next time. It's no problem. The Jumbo Strips wrap, now this was great, I like how the strip is cut up finely so you get an even distribution across the wrap. I would have liked some more cheese, mayonnaise and red onions too. In fact, I had half the wrap left over and the next day I had a bit more cheese, mayo and also added some onions and it took the wrap a good few levels higher. I think it comes down to personal preference though and some people will disagree with me. Maybe an add-on option for extra cheese, mayo and onion on Uber Eats/Just Eat might be best.

Upmarket Chicken and chips shop. Don't go here expecting £1 chicken and chips. Good range of options both fried and grilled. Staff are friendly and helpful. 21/11/21: unfortunately standards and portion sizes have dropped and prices risen. Big poster on the wall claiming be to be freshest most succulent crispiest etc. definitely not!

Been here a couple times and thought I’d leave a review. I’ve had bigger burgers before and this time I went with a smaller one so the bun don’t get eaten quicker than the chicken patty lol. Really nice crispy chicken, fries are decent, sauces tasty. I recommend but they are some big burgers for sure.
