Saltgrass Steak House

Food was good but service was less than acceptable. I made reservations for 2 and when we arrived we were informed they had no reservation. Fortunately I had the email confirmation. She called a manager and we were seated. Server said steaks could have an Oscar topping which I ordered. He later came back and said they didn’t do that but had a similar Cajun topping so I ordered it. Not the same , but ok. Would not recommend if you’re looking for good service. Not worth the money.

I give 2 stars. 1 because the food was good and 1 for the great waitress and efficiency getting out orders to us. Overall though, it was a horrible night. It was my husband's birthday so we thought we would try somewhere we have never been. Big mistake. Will never go back. We had planned dinner and a movie. There were 6 in our party. We arrived at 5:30 and were told 45 min to 1 hr. wait. That was cutting it close but would be fine. 2 HOURS later we finally were seated. I went to the desk at 45 min and was told 15 more minutes. 25 min later I went back to the desk and a different girl said the same thing. I said the other girl told me that 25 min ago. They both just shrugged. While waiting we were on a heated patio which was nice. My son fell asleep and my 78 year old mother dosed off for a few minutes too! The indoor waiting was standing room only. Like I said the food was good but not 2 hour wait good. I guess I should have read more about the place beforehand.

I was too hungry to take a picture of my food. 😐 This was my first visit to Salt Grass Steakhouse. I ordered the ribeye, fries, and salad. 🥩🍟🥗 It was delicious! I loved the environment and the customer service was top tier! Our waitress was Valerie. She was the absolute best! If I’m ever in the area of another Salt Grass Steakhouse, I will definitely eat there again!

We had a great family experience here. The appetizers we had were the fried mushrooms, and the cheese fries. Both were exceptionally delicious and great starters for our meals. My center cut filet served rare with Cajun toppings was beyond delicious and melt in your mouth tender. We all enjoyed our meals and our waitress was there to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back to explore the menu more.
