Osaka Sushi Bar

Osaka sushi has better sushi than other Japanese restaurants I’ve eaten in Birmingham. Their tempura yam sushi is awesome delicious!! However, I am vegetarian, and their tofu is too hard in their stir fry with vegetables—-they need more vegetarian options and they are pricier than other restaurants—so sometimes that affects our eating there.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but this place has pretty good Japanese food at a decent cost. My boyfriend and I split orders of the chicken+beef fried rice, Philadelphia roll, and their house roll which has pink soybean paper. Everything we ordered was tasty! Was pleasantly surprised that the rolls were well sized and the ingredients tasted fresh. The house roll was definitely interesting and unlike other rolls I've had before, but they were light and citrusy, and the pink wrap was cool. Would recommend this spot for a casual japanese meal.
