Subway

Only went because I had a 2.99 for 6 inch sub coupon for joining the text club on Subway's main website. Upon checking out, I showed the employee the coupon (which expires after a 5 minute timer) and she claimed she'd never heard of this coupon - Although I recieved it from the offical Subway Restaurant app. So, I had to pay $7 for a sandwich I was supposed to pay $3 for, and the coupon timed out so I can't even use it elsewhere. The staff is great and the food is good. I work in the area and was eating lunch here several times a week. I always use the app and pick up my sandwich. After a few weeks the owner turned off the option to use PayPal. Ok, not a deal breaker, I’ll just use a credit card. Then I notice that this location does not participate in any of the national deals, no $5 foot longs, no bogo, no whatever Subway is currently advertising through media. Seems like the owner wants to chase away my business so I’ll just go to chick fil a next door.

What's funny is that I work in this area and absolutely love Subway but every time I order I get this employee who apparently finds me annoying. All I ask of him is to put my cheese on my bread, not the meat on the bread then the cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc. This makes the lettuce and things soggy. I just don't understand why the attitude. That's crazy!! This may not be Burger King but it is an establishment that allows to make your sandwich the way you want. I just don't understand.... I probably wont ever eat at this location again.

So we head into this Subway. In a hurry, we're trying to get something to eat. My mother, is vegan. She is lactose intolerant and doesn't eat meat. We both are getting a veggie patty, as there are only two Subways in Birmingham that sell them. I had melted cheese on my sandwich, as I am not lactose intolerant like my mother. The server accidentally puts the wrong sauce on my mother's sandwich. He then proceeds to pull up my veggie patty and put it on the other side, as it is a footlong. In the process he leaves plenty of melted cheese on the other side. Oh, and did I mention, he didn't change his gloves. He was making a ham sandwich before. My mother's stomach was really upset as she was.
