Original Pancake House

Sooooo UNDERWHELMED HERE! This is not a BRUNCH SPOT (Brunch is Mimosas-this place does not offer that). Ok after that this places has a wait and I don’t see why. The eggs were bland, waffle no taste and cold (my butter didn’t even melt ). I had them remake it and it was the same when it came out again. When I read Bacon infused waffle that means the bacon is also in the batter- that is NOT the case here. Their Version of a Bacon Infused waffle- However is just a regular waffle with cheap bacon bits on top. However service is nice!

The food is awesome! You just cannot go wrong. I had a 3 Egg Omelet with Cheddar, Broccoli, Bacon and Potato, and 3 Pancakes while my family had the House Made Corned Beef Hash, (3) Raspberry Crepes, Bacon, Apple Waffle and Fresh Strawberry and Whip Cream topped Waffle along with fresh sqeezed Orange Juice and excellent Coffee, along with the Big Apple to go. There is always a wait to get in, because everyone knows how great the food is. This is my go to place for breakfast. I tell my family how I would like to drive three hours to go have breakfast there on the weekends, but they think I'm kidding although I'm not.

The Pancake house has been a tradition for my family since I was a kid. Many of my family members worked there and as one of my first jobs as a teenager I was a dishwasher there. Can't beat the time well spent eating this comfort food with family. Dutch Babys, pancakes, bacon and eggs, whatever you choose it will be delicious. It is a bit pricey though.

Hands down one of the best places for breakfast. The pancakes are amazing. The service is good. But I do wish that they had a little more variety in their menu. The only true negative is that most times you will have a long wait to be seated. But I guess when your pancakes are that good, a crowd should be expected.

Great special occasion breakfast! After a LONG wait (1 hour plus) on a Saturday morning, our group of 6 sat down. They are extremely short-staffed and cannot accommodate filling the tables, they were operating at what looked like less than 50% capacity. But, the wait staff was extremely kind and did a great job- you can tell how hard they are working so BE KIND! Ordered the Big Apple, Big German Treat, strawberry waffles, and Garden Dutch Baby. Everything was so well done and tasty. Not your normal pancake breakfast! Go here for a special occasion or a morning you won’t mind waiting for a good breakfast. They also offered carry-out, and while we were waiting there seemed to be a smooth trickle of people coming in to pick up their to-go orders.
