The food was excellent and deserves 5 stars. We got house bread and pizza as appetizers for the table, both of which I’d highly recommend. Our entrees were also impressive and we thorough enjoyed them. Our experience was unfortunately negatively affected by the service, or rather lack thereof. We were seated 30 minutes late for our reservation and then we waited another 30 minutes at our table before getting up and asking for preliminary service (drink orders, etc). Didn’t much improve after that either. I think it’s a big enough detractor given the price point of the establishment to bring it to 3 stars for me.

I had an amazing time here. The food and drinks were delicious. I recommend the Prosecco strawberry drink and the coffee martini. We order the avocado salad with salmon, pizza, sweet potato fries and calamari and everything was good. The chef is really good! Also, we had an excellent service from our waiter Felipe and from the hostess.

We had the time of our LIFE at Market North End for our team's holiday party. We ordered just about everything on the menu and it tasted great. Including: Pizza rolls House bread Hummus Potato spread Chocolate tarte Cheesecake Cookie sandwich (Maybe a cinnamon bread?) Salads Ribs Grilled Cheese Fried chicken sandwich I think we all left feeling satisfied, based on the way we waddled back to the cars. It was packed and it can get LOUD, but that didn't detour us. Only thing I can think of is the fried chicken sandwich isn't as crispy as you'd imagine, but still flavorful. The Apple salad also does not come with any greens, which was a surprise for me. That being said, you can ask them to add it in. Parking is always a hassle in Birmingham, but it's hardly unique to this restaurant. Hoping we will be back for lunch here again soon.

I have been to Market many times, and it’s usually always great but super packed. The last time I went it was full of people but not uncomfortably packed and we loved it! Hopefully they continue to follow their maximum capacity guidelines. The drinks are always strong and well made and the food has never been a disappointment. Would definitely recommend!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite places for lunch AND dinner. The food is all homemade, great quality and most of all it tastes amazing! I've been here many, times for lunch and a few times for dinner. I've had pizza, chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, but what stands out to me is the ability to get a high quality meal with some very creative preparations of veggies for a reasonable price. This past visit I only ordered veggies for my entree because they are just that good! The Brussels sprouts were bold and crispy, the celery and fennel salad will blow your mind, and the parmesan cauliflower was delish (a little overcooked, but oh well). We had the octopus appetizer which I loved, the house bread - A-mazing, and my husband had the fried chicken. He loved! It comes with potatoes and carrots so such a great value for $17. We ordered dessert too, my husband really enjoyed the cookie sandwich. I enjoyed a cup of coffee. Looking forward to our next visit!

First time at this location, and brought a few friends to join in. We reserved a table and were seating immediately, which was much appreciated. I personally ordered the house bread which was fine, and the feta appetizer -- my favorite of what I ordered. Main dish was the meatloaf which was alright, would likely opt for something else. Only negative was our waitress clearly wanted nothing to do with being there for the day. Had to find another service member for refills on water and silverware. Would likely try one more time to see if things are a little different next time around.
