La Perla Nayarita

Weird experience, won't be back. Service was fine, food was good. A bit shocked that the sangria, which did come in a large frosty mug and was tasty, was $12. The strange thing is that when I paid with my credit card it came short by $2.70🤔. In my experience the charge either clears or is denied so this was def weird and rather alarming. I immediately checked my bank account via app and confirmed that there was indeed thousands more than required to buy my meal in it. I then asked the employee how this happens and he said sometimes it just charges what it can and the rest has to be settled up otherwise. I told him there is more than enough in my account to cover the cost of my meal and he rolled his eyes at me😳. I paid the $2.70 in cash and also left a more than appropriate cash tip. Whoever is running this place needs to ensure that your credit readers are working correctly and instruct your staff on polite customer interaction. The only reason I came here is because I recently moved into the area and this place caught my eye. I mentioned giving the place a try to my friends but they seemed skeptical....we won't be going here ever.

Authentic Mexican cuisine. Appreciated the cerviche tostada as an appetizer. Ordered Camarones al Gusto, fried Fish with Perla and Diabla Garlic sauce and, last but not least the Steak Quesadilla. The portions are generous. With every bite you can taste the authenticity of the region in Mexico. Even the frijoles (beans) are delicious. The restaurant is filled with large screen TV's of soccer games and the mariachi bands compliment the atmosphere. Overall great dining experience.

I visited La Perla Nayarita for lunch. Very authentic and caters to their authenticity. The wait to be seated was very short. They weren't busy at all. Service was good. My waitress, though she didn't tell me her name, was very attentive. I ordered steak fajitas. It was good. Less onions and more peppers would have made it great. Would I go back? Sure! Would love to try a margarita.
